Product purchased as a Data Drive in concert with a 970 EVO 1TB from same company for OS. Installed in an otherwise stock Dell G7 15 7588 on recommendations that the parts were in fact compatible (added 32GB ram as well) Used for editing of digital audio workstation projects. This drive is excellent and, unless you have a TON of cash to purchase a 9xx large capacity SSD for your data purposes, this will be just about the best high capacity solid state drive you can fit into your mid-level mobile workstation

I own at least 10 Samsung SSDs, from the Evos to M.2s. I never had an issue with a single one. My oldest EVO (an 840) is some 4 years old now, with dozens of TBs of data written/read to it, so I am happy with reliability.
