Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Samsung is highly regarded for their SSDs and for good reason. I plopped this baby in and reinstalled windows and now my 5 year old computer is running better than when I purchased it back in 2014. The Samsung Magician utility that is included is a godsend, it allows you to control and monitor so much in one program, not to mention it allows you to use Samsungs propietary rapid more which DOES work. Overall I am very happy with this product, but if I have an issue in the near future I will update my review.

At this price it is excellent value for money. These drives are fast and gave a lethargic laptop a new lease on life. Boot-up and shut-down are almost instantaneous.

Ive been using Samsung SSDs for both myself and family members to give their computers a massive boost in performance. When other cheaper brands have gone out, the Samsungs just keep on going. They also honor their 5 year warranty, which is nice. I recently put one of these in my PlayStation 4 Pro, which then allows me to enable a performance option in the settings. It cuts down on load times in games by up to 50%.

Theres nothing like supercharging your old MacBook Pro 2012 for storage and speed than replacing your old HD drive with a 1TB SSD drive. My 7-yo computer operates like I bought a brand-new, 2019 MacBook Pro, and has double the storage capacity. I may not buy another laptop again until all the screws fall out of this one!

Installed this in a Late-2014 iMac. The original 3 TB HDD was beginning to fail. This SSD did the trick and works with Apples Trim settings (NOTE: you will need a temp sensor and a kit to open the iMac.) I had previously installed another SSD from another company (S**D***), which failed after 2 years; Ive got higher hopes for the Samsung.

Ive used Samsung SSDs for years now and have yet to have any issues. This is probably my 10th Samsung SSD and Ive used them in desktops, laptops and even a server. I refuse to use a computer without a SSD. First thing I do when buying a new computer now, is swap the HDD with a SSD and install a clean copy of windows. Takes about 10 minutes to install windows 10 from a USB drive. Love the speed, especially when video editing. Highly recommend!

El disco funciona muy bien, es muy rápido y se equipara con un HyperX que tengo instalado. No me quejo en lo absoluto para el rendimiento de mis videojuegos

Le hice un upgrade de disco duro a mi IMac 27’ con este disco. Ahora funciona muchísimo más rápido

As an IT Specialist for a large, multi office Real Estate firm, I have installed around 20 of these drives. I have never had even so much as a minor glitch using the Samsung Data Migration software and had absoutly no issues with this drive. Our Marketing people are power users and these drive work like they are supposed to.
