This item arrived early and performed as expected.

Easy to install if you have a computer guy. He ordered it for me and cloned the old hard disk onto this one and it works just fine. I have had it for several weeks. What would I do without a computer guy?

Well priced and increases performance (boot time especially). If you dont need a huge drive, this is perfect. If you do need a lot of storage, I reco to use this as the system drive and add a 2nd spinning disk for storage.

Ez to install, faster than my previous one

I bought this drive from Amazon, but it was apparently sold by Samsung . . . though I cannot really tell for sure who the seller was. I purchased this New drive back in April, but didnt get around to installing it until July. Unfortunately, because of that . . . I am not eligible for a refund. I intended for this to be a mirror drive for my old computers OS drive. The thing is, when I booted the computer up with this drive installed, it had someone elses stuff! It is someone named Morgan. The drive, as you can see, has Morgans pay stubs in Adobe. Unbelievable! I never, in my wildest imagination, thought I could purchase a New drive from Amazon, and be sold a Used Drive. Who would have thunk? My faith in Amazon is greatly shaken. Next time, if I buy another drive from Amazon (there is a good chance I will never purchase a hard drive from Amazon again), but if I do, I will be sure to unbox it and check it out as soon as I receive it. It never dawned on my that they would sell me a Used Drive at a New Drive price. If you buy Hard Drives from Amazon, BEWARE! Make sure you check them out immediately.

The SSD drive was very easy to install and I easily copied my data using cables purchased separately. Once installed as a replacement in my laptop, performance increased significantly. Startup is almost instantaneously and performance is great. I was having so many problems with laptop with the old mechanical disk drive that I was considering replacing the laptop. With less than a $200 investment, I added several years of life to the laptop. Great investment.

Used this Samsung evo 860 SSD on my iMac 21.5 late 2013 model in order to upgrade and make faster since the new model of iMac with similar SSD version would cost me close to $3K. Now it feels like brand new fast machine that brings all the Macs potential I can benefit vs old HDD 54 rpm.

Replaced spinning rust and sped an anemic Pentium Silver to usable status. Super easy to install replacing super slow OEM Toshiba 5400rpm and with a fresh install of Windows it’s as fast as possible without OEM crud.

I had the new SSHD installed by an Amazon technician who did a great job. Too involved for me to do it by myself. My HP PC with Windows 10 now starts up in about 5 seconds instead of a minute or two. I’ve had two other PC’s and it was always the spinning platter HD that failed and cost me a bundle to put the data on the new computer. I’ll never buy another computer without a Solid State HD. I’m very happy with the new speed of everything I do on the computer. It’s like day and night!
