> 3 dayIf you are looking to replace your 5400 or 7200 laptop hard drive, this SSD drive should be a first consideration. Had a catastrophic HD failure with my old 7200, but was able to recover some data. Replaced the drive with this SSD. Super easy, just like installing a regular 2.5 HD.

> 3 dayi started out using ssd drives from other makers a decade back but after my first Samsung drive i have stuck with them since. i keep two spare drives on hand and clone the drive in my pc every week or at most two weeks. that way when there is a problem i have a recent copy i can just slap in the pc and be good. for me the result has been no data losses and a lot of peace of mind.

> 3 dayUpgrading from HDD, I have to point out the most obvious difference is loading times. My new computer boots up and shuts down almost faster than I can sit down or stand up. That isnt even an exaggeration if you consider the intentional delays for inputs under windows startup and bios startup. If you take that luxury in consideration for a large enough space for this to be your main drive rather than a boot drive, it is WELL worth the price. Especially if youve used nothing but HDD your whole life. Pamper yourself.
