> 3 daySo far, so good. I installed this SSD in an inexpensive enclosure to use as an external drive on which I installed macOS 10.14 Mojave over a clone of my working system. It runs lightning fast, though it takes my iMac a while to find the drive before starting up. Eventually I may install it inside the iMac as a replacement for the internal Fusion Drive it came with. SSDs have come down in price—for the most part. Apple still charges an arm and a leg for a good sized internal SSD on their new models. My 2013 27 iMac still works fine, so a drive replacement may be feasible.

Greater than one weekBought this cuz I had little space on my PC.. it’s fast (obviously, it’s an SSD).. I got the 500GB ones.. which is more than I needed, but it’s always good to be prepared..

> 3 dayI needed an SSD drive to replace my broken HDD. It comes with a mini manual and SSD. No SATA or Power wires or cables so if you need any, youll need to purchase them. I was up and running very quickly!

> 3 dayI installed this on my laptop along with a RAM upgrade. Its like getting a brand new computer. As far as transferring everything, I just downloaded Samsung Data Migration and let it run. On a 1TB drive it took 6 hours or so - I just set it to cloning and went to bed. I woke up and popped the new drive it and everything works perfectly. Great device!

13-06-2025The drive were inexpensive and perform crazy fast. Especially with the Samsung Magician software. I bought 4 more to put in my Windows Server. Waiting on the Hot Swap Conversion Rails from SuperMicro to come in to install them. Cant wait! :-)
