Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Replaced my HDD with this, and the difference in speed is incredible. I cloned this from my HDD in forty five minutes with the Samsung cloning software. The software is free from the Samsung site. Just download the software and follow a few super easy steps.

The SSD was just as advertised. Installation instructions included were not great, so had to google how to initialize the drive. Once that was done installation was easy. It helps if you have a USB cable to upload your files before you install it internally on the computer.

Replaced the 500 GB Hitachi TravelStar with the same size 860 EVO. The downloadable data migration software worked perfectly (it would be faster with a system that has a USB 3.0 port), and the Samsung Magician software installed without a problems.

Boot-up is so much faster!!! Want to find out how easy just do search for How to duplicate HHD to SSD and I chose the PCguide.com directions. Only need a USB 3.0 to SATA External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5 or 3.5 HDD, SSD and the free EaseUs todo Backup program and follow their simple directions. Usually less than 1 hour . Must be sure new drive is large enough to copy the original drive.

Replacing my old hard drive with this sdd is like day & night....My 7 yr. old computer boots almost instantly..software downloads are much faster, like adding turbocharging to a car. Very happy

I got Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB together with 16GB of RAM to upgrade my 2012 iMac 21.5.

These drives are well built and have an excellent reputation. It was very easy to install and has worked flawlessly. The load times and write times are much faster than drives Ive used in the past. Love the simplicity and speed of this SSD!
