Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Fantastic SSD Drive. I installed on my 2012 MacBook Pro. Decreased my boot up time tremendously from about 2.5 minutes to less than 30 seconds. Everything else runs quicker as well.

Price has gone up lately. Market I guess.

Have installed a couple of these on various laptops and performance is great, install is easy with Samsung’s software to clone your existing drive, and so far no reliability issues.

Its very fast to boot and to run games. I did a test on CPU benchmark and it scored above expectations.

Install was really quick, plug and play, and sleek looking. Only comes with the drive, so you need to source a SATA cable yourself. Luckily I have a ton of them so not an issue. Extremely fast drive with a ton of storage space when you play games that are 100GB in size for literally no reason. Looking at you siege and COD. Load times are instantaneous and not even noticeable. Read and write are mad fast, but of course not comparable to NVME. But if you dont have a m.2 slot or an extra pcie slot, than this is for you. Might be expensive, but for what you get and from the brand its a reliable 1TB of SSD goodness that is highly recommended. No more do you need a 240GB-512Gb SSD just for boot and a few games and having your 2 massive slow 7200 RPM drives for main storage. You can do both all in one and have all the benefits of the fast loading on the games that arent as important.

Purchased the 2TB model for $295

I ordered 2 separate Internal SSDs, but later found out that my laptop only has room for 1. Amazon accepted the others back and I replaced them with this (larger) SSD and it works/fits perfectly for my needs (No Gaming, but plenty of work, e-mails, Facebook, and other online apps).

I bought this SSD to replace my inbuilt Dell laptop Hard drive. My laptop use to take 3-4 minutes to boot up and start any application. After installing the new SSD, its booting in less than 30 seconds. Easy to install and mirror the data from old Hard drive to new drive using Samsung software.

I bought this SSD a few months ago and so far I have to say it is probably one of the best things I have ever gotten for my PC. Games that would take around 5-10 minutes to load in before now boot up in seconds, and the start up time for my computer is literally insane to watch how fast It boots up in under 10 seconds, even with it being months after purchase and filled with games and files.
