> 3 dayI used it as the primary drive, and it cut my boot time down to 1/8 what it was with a Velociraptor drive. Then I replaced it with an M.2 NVMe drive, which cut the boot time yet again. Now Im using the 1TB 860 EVO as a data volume, where it works just as well.

> 3 dayAll of my SSDs are Samsungs. Every computer we have (5) has one. You cant beat an SSD for the best upgrade you can do yourself. I have to say that they will go bad sometimes but, so does everything else in this world. One of mine seems to be dying right now but that could be because of the conditions I put it in. Anyway, Ive got a plan for that.
