Great drive. Very easy to install. Purchase a USB to sata adapter and then use the free Samsung migration utility to replace your old hard drive. Once its done, swap the drive and turn your computer on. Easy, fast, and it brings new life into any old spindle drive computer. Spindle disks computers are so slow anymore

If you dont have an SSD installed do it, it is the most cost effective upgrade you can do. The speed increase is immediately noticeable. SSDs are so cheap now there is no reason not to do it.

First SSD I got and the only thing I asked myself was why I didnt get it sooner. Costs a little more than the other SSD options in the market however you can rest assured you are getting a quality product and my PC is light years faster now(I know light years is distance not speed). If you buy one upgrade make it this SSD.

This thing brought my older desktop back to life. Im not a technical expert by any means but I was able to install this and have my computer fulling functional in probably 45 min including all downloads that were needed. My computer is pretty fast now and I have all of the storage that I would ever need. This is a much better option that going out and paying $900 to $1500 for a new computer. Im probably going to order a second one and upgrade my other computer.

It took me forever to get Windows to recognize the SSD, but it has been working amazing ever since. If you cant get it to work, go into your BIOS and toggle the hot-swapping ability on the port the SSD is in. That worked for me.

This is the older model. But I believe it has a much better life expectancy

Very easy to install for a novice computer user fixing their own laptop. Just follow the basic instructions and swap the old non-working hard drive for the new one. If your computer was previously loaded with Win 10 (or other), the computer should recognize it and install for you during the setup process. You DO NOT have to purchase another operating system if this is the case. You Tube is also an excellent resource when doing this process.
