    Greater than one week

To review the SSD itself, Ive had zero issues, its small, easy to mount, easy to install. To review the impact of having an SSD, It shortened my 2 minute boot times to around 3 seconds, I load into games insanely quick, and the SSD runs dead silent, unlike my previous HDD that was begging me for death.

For a long time, I resisted the temptation of getting an SSD because they were expensive as well as occasionally unreliable. Finally I decided to treat myself, and I cant believe it but it actually makes such a huge difference - mainly in game loading times and even when opening a file explorer. Ive been using this for a few months now and its been great. Of course, I do wish I had more SSD storage, but this has served me well holding my OS and games. This SanDisk is really fast and has given me no troubles that some of the older SSDs allegedly had a few years ago. The drive was easy to install and get running.

Blazing fast, cut my reboot speed by 50%. NOTE: This is a bare SSD only, without screws, cables, brackets, or cloning cable & software. I also picked up the following: 1) AFUNTA 6-Inch Sata Power Y Splitter Cable Adapter - M/f (Power Cable) to provide power, from Amazon 2) APRICORN Notebook Drive Upgrade Kit (cloning cable & software) from Best Buy 3) A standard 2.5 to 3.5 ssd adapter from my local computer store. Of these three additional items I had the hardest time finding the power-Y splitter. Couldnt find it in any local computer store.

This thing is great - and Im a Samsung bigot/fan. I wish it was 1TB instead of the odd 960GB. This means transfers can be cumbersome and take more steps than a direct disk copy. Thats my biggest beef. The system I put this in boots super quick, the drive is of course silent. Its almost as fast as my other Samsung Evo Pro SSDs!

This (240GB) has been absolutely flawless in an HP 8200 elite (Q67 chipset) running Windows 7 x64. Performance is in line with what was advertised, and what other sites benchmarked - and it hasnt slowed down in the few months Ive had it (unlike the 840/840 Evos). Windows gets partway through the flag animation, then goes right over to the login screen. Nice! Update: The desktop is still working perfectly, 8 or 9 months later, hasnt noticeably slowed down or anything. No stability issues. I just bought a 480GB one for my zbook 14g1. That one, too, is working like a charm thus far. If I need any more SSDs, theyll be Extreme Pros or Ultra IIs from now on. Update: Ive since tried one of the drives in a Zbook 14 g2, and a Lenovo t440s. Works like a charm in everything, and unlike other drives, these dont falter under load. Throw a 200GB transfer at these and Windows (resmon) shows 25% usage while maxing out a gigabit link. (Unlike other drives, that advertise similarly high speeds but suffer if you give them a huge file transfer and dont give them time to TRIM afterwards.) Ill definitely buy another one of these should I need it.

I did a side by side of two Dell e6540 laptops (brand new, same image, specs, etc). Only difference was the SSD and the HDD. The HDD was getting around 100 MB/s seq read and 95 MB/s seq write. On the SSD I get around 515 MB/s seq and 485 MB/s write. The SSD system is very snappy whereas the HDD will spin frequently. I went with this SSD over the Samsung based on the reviews from Anand Tech and Toms hardware. I did check prices today however and the Samsung 850 EVO 250GB is only 89 bucks. I bought this one last week for 130 but it is 119 today. If money is tight and youre trying to get the absolute biggest bang for your buck, you might want to look into the Samsung but if you want the best, I dont think youll be disappointed in this at all. If Anand and Tomshardware recommend it and claim its the best, you cannot go wrong.

I picked this SSD to upgrade my 2 year old Dell Latitude E5540. Once I had my original drive cloned to this one and installed, the machine was smokin fast. I went from almost 90 second boot time to less than 30 second boot time. I also noticed a vast difference in temperature of the laptop. Before the fans would run almost all the time. Now they hardly ever run. Very good drive for the money.

This was such a great buy. It totally reinvigorated my MacBook pro which now runs faster than my faster than my girlfriends MacBook Air which is a whole model year newer. Migrating all my data from the old drive was easy with tutorials I found online. Ive had this for 6 months now and its been far more durable than my old spinning disk MacBook hard drive. Also, for what its worth this is a best buy on Toms hardware, which is the place to look for hardware recommendations.

Works flawlessly with my Gigabyte GA-Z97X 3 motherboard. Very quick load times (comparable to my old Samsung Pro 850 drive. I used Marcium Reflect to clone my existing spindle-based HDD to the SanDisk. So I cannot attest to the SanDisk cloning software that you can download from their website. For the price, this SSD is really a no brainer. Im very, very happy and plan to buy more for other machines in my office.
