> 3 dayThis is a good heavy chain. The welds on the chain appear to be good and strong but the welds on the big ring don’t look as good. Not sure if I trust the cinch ring with the way the welds look but overall this is a good chain.

> 3 dayI am usimg it to secure a generator to a ground anchor. The way it loops around so you only have to lock onr end of the chain is a great idea. Plus this allows you to use the full length and not have to double it up to lock something. An additional feature I like is it comes with a nylon cover so it will not sctatch the crap out of what is is secured to.

> 3 dayThis is a solid, cutter-resistant chain with a very useful noose. Makes for a lighter chain lock for its length.

Greater than one weekLets be real... nothing will stop a thief who wants your stuff bad enough, and as good as this chain is you are going to need a good lock too. Not much to say about it other than it is a thick, well made chain. Only real downside is the weight, but the mass is part of the reason you want a chain like this.

> 3 dayA big, robust, cool piece of chain. I love the sound the links make. Rings like a fine medieval sword making a perfect cut. That said, it’s just too heavy for a bicycle. I got a ulock at the same time just to compare and the ulock won because it’s lighter for the same security. Hookup flexibility is less with the ulock but that trade off is fine for my needs. I’m keeping the chain though. I’m going to use it as a wall hanger for my sword.

> 3 dayIve had cables cut and bikes and other equipment stolen with simple bolt cutters. Not with one of these! This is a serious chain that would probably take an acetylene torch to cut so dont loose your key. I especially like the way that this has a loop (or noose) on one end which allows you to use the full length of the chain. One down side is that its very heavy so take that into consideration. Get a long one and a short one. A single long Schlage can easily lock several bicycles or motorcycles, while a shorter Schlage is easier and lighter to transport.

> 3 daySolid, long enough to secure bike. Best use _ stationary security in medium security area, perfect to secure to the car bike rack . A BIT TOO HEAVY TO TAKE WITH YOU if you are riding light weight expensive road bike, but may be OK for e bike or gravel bike with a luggage rack . This chain is resistant to hand held boltcutter, BUT NOT grinder.

Greater than one weekI bought this to lock up my and my wifes e-bikes when they are attached to our bike carrier. Its long enough for my situation and it certainly looks beefy; I hope Ill never find out if it stands up to a bolt cutter attack. I also got this lock, because of its molybdenum shackle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001V5IYWE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It BARELY fits with the chain, which is actually good since that leaves minimal room for a bolt cutter to attack. (It fits pretty easily through the loop, and just barely through two links.)

> 3 dayThis product is very similar to the Krytonites New York Noose chain, except its 3.3 feet instead of 2.5 feet. Combine with Kryptonites Evolution 4 lock and youll save about twenty bucks over the New York Noose, albeit sacrificing Kryptonites reimbursement guarantee if someone manages to cut the chain instead of the lock. Is that likely? In a word, no. The only way through it is with an angle grinder. Itd be easier to the cut the sign, rack, or whatever else the chain is attached to. This, assuming youre willing to carry the chain with you at all; its well over five pounds excluding the lock. I use mine to secure the bike to my trailer hitch when Im at stops while traveling. If I had to take something on a ride, Id opt for a U-lock.
