> 3 dayThe Schlage was MUCH HEAVIER than my Kryptonite 12 mm chain! Schlage measures from edge-to-edge, while Kryptonite is 12 mm from vertex-to-vertex!

> 3 dayThis is a very high quality product. The links are totally impervious to a hacksaw and file, and 15 seconds of angle grinding only made the most minor of abrasions. I bought this for chaining a small safe to my steel bed frame to make it harder to walk off. Sawing apart the steel bed frame will definitely now be the easiest way to walk away with my safe. The cinch ring is a great feature. The chain is honestly way overkill for my task but I couldnt find a smaller chain with the cinch ring, which I wanted. Cyclists: Get a smaller chain... this is way too hefty for your purposes. Would be good for motorcycles in very high-risk areas.

> 3 dayThis is really a good security chain. Cant see anyone getting through this easily. It is, however, quite heavy. This really doesnt make it very portable. I use it to secure the bikes to the rack on my truck for overnight stops. Cant imagine carrying this with me on a ride anywhere.

> 3 dayHoly crap this thing is huge. Definitely not something for a bicycle ride... Maybe a motorcycle or leaving at home to lock overnight. I bet you could lock your whatever in the worst neighborhood in Russia and they wouldnt touch this chain. The week link would be the lock or whatever your locking it to. I have returned it due to its weight and size. I have no use for this as its just too much security and not light enough to bike with.

> 3 dayI use this to secure motorcycles and it gives confidence. This thing is beefy and the pass through ring makes it much better. Good buy

> 3 dayI bought this to lock up my and my wifes e-bikes when they are attached to our bike carrier. Its long enough for my situation and it certainly looks beefy; I hope Ill never find out if it stands up to a bolt cutter attack. I also got this lock, because of its molybdenum shackle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001V5IYWE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It BARELY fits with the chain, which is actually good since that leaves minimal room for a bolt cutter to attack. (It fits pretty easily through the loop, and just barely through two links.)

> 3 dayThis chain is heavy duty Im pleasantly surprised at just how heavy this thing is. Its very secure even my cinch chain is welded well. I dont have to worry about my bike thanks to how sturdy and well made this chain is. I also like the protective fabric coating and the extra length its long enough to wrap around a telephone pole.

> 3 dayHigh Security or Heavy Duty does not adequately describe this chain. I bought the 5 version so that I could run it through a couple of the holes in the body of my car at the back of the inside of my trunk (at the corner where the cross-member is that supports to the top of the back seat). The cinch design was essential for this. Now the chain reaches a few feet out in my trunk, and I can lock all sorts of things to it (like my high-security brief case or any lock box, etc.). It wont stop every thief, but it will definitely slow them down. In fact, if a thief does somehow steal anything, Im fairly certain they wont do it by cutting this chain. Im attaching photos showing how Im using the chain in my trunk.

> 3 dayI read a few reviews that mentioned how massive and heavy this chain is. Take note! It IS massive and heavy. I will be using this on my bike rack for security as it is way too big to carry on my bike. It can be defeated as all chains can with a portable angle grinder but this is as good as you can get. It will surely deter most casual thieves.
