> 3 dayOne star removed because the round link is awkward to pull links through and its a bit overpriced. Aside from that, its pretty formidable. Its a bit too heavy for bikes, so if youre biking with it youll want a bike frame bag to store it, and it works especially well with a 2-inch shackle round body padlock because you can fit an end link and a body link inside it nice and tightly without removing the sleeve (I use a Master Lock M930XKADLH, but any similar lock should work)

> 3 dayJust as advertised. Its a nice heavy chain. My shed is in the back of the yard, I use it to chain my snowblower up on my back deck so I dont have to drag it through the (snow-covered) yard every time I need to clean off the driveway. The cover is nice as well. It will help keep the chain from damaging what you are trying to protect.

> 3 dayThis product is very similar to the Krytonites New York Noose chain, except its 3.3 feet instead of 2.5 feet. Combine with Kryptonites Evolution 4 lock and youll save about twenty bucks over the New York Noose, albeit sacrificing Kryptonites reimbursement guarantee if someone manages to cut the chain instead of the lock. Is that likely? In a word, no. The only way through it is with an angle grinder. Itd be easier to the cut the sign, rack, or whatever else the chain is attached to. This, assuming youre willing to carry the chain with you at all; its well over five pounds excluding the lock. I use mine to secure the bike to my trailer hitch when Im at stops while traveling. If I had to take something on a ride, Id opt for a U-lock.

> 3 dayHavent seen how this chain will hold up against a thief yet but it seems big, heavy and quite beefy. Love the loop through (cinch ring) option as it gives you much more length (instead of having to match both ends of a chain which reduces your length). Update: 2 years securing my sons moped at college now and the chain hasnt been touched.. has stayed looking new through two winters. This is a serious chain and have been very very impressed. Used it with a Sobo cylinder lock and both are awesome.

> 3 dayAs a point of reference, this lock is so heavy that it destroyed the box it came in. While Im using it to lock up a small motorcycle, Im sure it would also serve to secure a bicycle, a moped, a jet-ski, or nuclear launch codes. Its so heavy that you may not need to actually secure it to a post, thieves will just look at its massive links and despair. I bought this because of the noose portion which allows me to secure the motorcycle to objects that are further away when compared to a chain that doesnt have that feature. On a more serious note, I appreciate the nylon sleeve that helps to keep this from scratching things its attached to.

> 3 dayThis chain is HUGE. Certainly fine for my needs. Only downside? The weight. But no stars off for that.. Nice welds also.

Greater than one weekThe noose on the end is unique. This makes the chain effectively a foot longer. However I am disappointed that the links are not the proper profile to fit the end link through the middle of two other links. I would have liked to use a puck lock since I carry this on my electric bike.

Greater than one weekThis chain is beefy! Love it. My only regret is that I did not get one that is a foot longer (that is my fault of course). Update - still love this chain. It stays perm. attached to my bike rack and I lock up my pricy mtn bike when I have to leave it on my car. The lock would be the weak part of my system, however, most crimes are crimes of opportunity and it is not easy, they wont bother.

> 3 dayThis is a heavy duty chain. Im using it to secure a gas generator to a shed and more than enough length to secure. Because the chain is mounted in the back of the shed and under the generator, using a bolt cutter or grinder would not be impossible, but highly unlikely. I would recommend this product for this application. This is heavy so I wouldnt want to carry this around or use on a bike, but a motorcycle with storage bin would work.
