Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Me llegaron al día siguiente sin ningún problema con el envío express, el sonido en muy bueno y más si lo haces combo con in buen DAC-AMP aún ue mi celular los ha podido levantar sin problema alguno.

i ordered a used one and i first tought it was new ,everything in the box was well placed and the box itself was nearly new.Those headphones are awesome i definetly recommend

Amazing headphones for classical music. Has fantastic sound throughout its range and doesnt loose anything during quiet or loud sections of songs and symphonies.

Of course it sounds really good. My HD 558 already sounds great so I dont expect much of an upgrade compared from my HD 558 (foam removed). But theres a little bit deeper bass (not to be confused with boomy) theres a bit more bass and clarity in the highs. Soundstage is almost exactly the same but even with my foam mod on HD 558, theres slightly more separation which is actually pretty good and Im glad I replaced my old ones with this because I wanted more clarity without killing my cash. I used O2 ODAC with 24 hour burn in.

Reduced to £50. Great sound + very open out walking you seem to hear the birds and planes more and wonder if its on the track.

Je voulais un bon casque, avec un son HiFi sans basse surabondante (pour lequel il y a dexcellents modèles chez Sennheiser comme lUrbanite XL). Il est super confortable, entoure les oreilles (comme le XL) et lécoute est un régal (cest un Sennheiser ...). Seul bémol cest un casque pour une chaine Hifi, donc avec un gros jack de chaine hifi. Pour lutiliser sur une tablette ou un portable, il faut ajouter un adaptateur pour petit jack (fourni). Par ailleurs limpédance est plus forte que celle dun Urbanite ce qui nécessite de mettre le son plus fort. Donc je lutiliserai quand meme aussi en Nomade mais il est moins adapté quun Urbanite pour cet usage. Pas pliable. Par contre un cordon épais, solide et long. Conclusion : excellent.

Excellent dynamic range and sound quality.

These headphones have far and away become my favorite headphones I own. I had previously bought the Audio-Technica M50xs (great headphones also), but I really wanted to try the open backed style and Sennheiser have always been great to me. The sounds is crisp and smooth. If youve never had Sennheiser anythings, they are more for the acoustics, they have amazing highs and mids, but they are not built for Bass. Im in love and ecstatic about this purchase. Definitely would recommend.

I spent awhile considering the options for over-ear headphones in this price range (around $100), and there was quite a deal going-on with these, so I decided to purchase this set of headphones, although I have never owned Sennheiser products before. I am not sure if this is beneficial for anyone, but I figured Id list-out the pros and cons: Positives: 1. Price 2. Look - Pretty stylish design 3. Comfort - Soft covers on the pads are very comfortable Negatives: 1. Price/cost for the quality of sound 2. The sides of the headphones emit quite a bit of sound, so if you are concerned about your surroundings, these are not the ones for you 3. The largest issue is the sound quality. They sound like they are blown already; crackling during higher bass and lower end tones, although I have not turned the volume up very loud at all. Also, after first opening the box, I let a playlist play on a low volume setting while I was at work, which I heard breaks-in the speakers, before listening to them at a higher level. For future headphone purchases, I will investigate more, regardless of sale price.
