Amazing headphones! Managed to get these when they were on sale during black friday for $109 and I must say that these were a steal at that price! I bought some bluetooth headphones to use while im commuting to work but these will be used at home. Ill go through the basic questions people usually have about headphones like these: Comfort: Without a doubt one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn but then again I usually dont spring for anything over $100 bucks. When it says over the ear it means over the damn ears! Ive bought other headphones which say the same thing but they usually end up pinching the top of my ears or the bottom of my ear lobe, which is fine but after wearing them for a few hours it can hurt. The HD 598 fit over my ear comfortably and the swiveling cans make sure they fit my lumpy head perfectly! Sound leak: These phones are meant for indoor use because they will leak. If I turn my ipod to 20% of the volume I can start to hear sound coming through the cans but thats if in my room. If youre planning to use them outside then maybe the sound of the bus or train will drown it out at that volume level. At 25% and above, you might as well just have speakers because everyone around you will hear your music perfectly. If you want them to listen to music while you commute then either keep the volume REALLY low or make sure no one is around you. They dont block out sound from the outside so keeping it at a low volume might drown out your music. What type of genre are these good for?: Pretty much everything from acoustic to heavy metal. Youll get clear sound from all genre of music but if youre really into bass then these arent for you. The bass isnt bad by any means but it might not be the greatest if youre into genres like dubstep or anything else bass heavy or just generally like to feel the bass all the way down to your balls.

I got my headphones over a week ago. I was using Skullcandy Crushers before, and boy was I naive in sound quality. Not bashing Skullcandy at all, but I have been missing out on some quality sounding music. I feel like I can hear all the individual sounds/instruments clearly. The headphones fit around the ears (a must for me). I actually went through a 8 hour programming session (on accident) and didnt encounter any ear or head bothering. When I say bothering I mean your ears getting sore or flush because of wearing for too long. Not sure if this is unique to me, but the fit of these headphones are great. The packaging was secure so I have nothing to report to that. I had to switch out the input wire, which took me a second to remove. You need to twist the wire at the ear piece to the left and pull out. After that I appreciate that design, saying I turn my head and nothing is worse then unplugging the cord and your music is blaring through your device/speakers.... Now the ear pieces are not covered. I dont want to call it a screen though. I can hear my surroundings and if the music is loud enough others can hear what I am listening to. I wouldnt be using this at loud places, but I dont plan on taking this out of my secluded work space... I have read that there is a 40 hour burn that the speakers have to go through before the sound is at its best. I really cant wait to get to that point.

These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is much better than I expected, I love that you are able to change out the wires so easily if something happens to them. Comfort They are very comfortable, and if you are into gaming and wanting to buy these I highly recommend it. I would wear them for hours while gaming and would completely forget that they were there sometimes. Durability I have dropped these headphones more times than I can count and they still work like I opened them from the box. Sound Much better than I had hoped for, I have owned many headphones and these are the first I would go for. Keep in mind that these headphones are very loud and anyone can hear what you are listening to at high or even low volumes sometimes.

These headphones work very well. They came with an adapter so I could use them in all of my audio jacks. Sound quality is great even after having them for a year. I recommend these headphones if you want to listen to music or play Video Games.

Okay, so I dont even know where to begin. These are THE best headphones I have ever used. They fit well, feel great (even after 5 hours of gaming), they dont squeeze your head too hard so wearing glasses is confortable. I could go on, but I think you get my point. These headphones turned out to be exactly what Ive been looking for. I listen to a lot of music and wanted outstanding sound quality for enjoying music at home and my office. Unlike studio headphones, these feature open backs ( so NO noise isolation or noise cancelling), which enables me to enjoy my music while still being able to carry on a conversation if someone comes into my office. (Ive been startled too many times with noise isolation headphones!) Sound quality is excellent - very robust and multi-dimensional. I can hear the full range of sounds, even at the lowest volume, so I dont have to trash my hearing. If you like heavy bass, you might want to pass these by. (For my taste, there is plenty of bass.) Comfort is excellent. Ive worn these all day and often forget theyre on. I love the velour covers on the ear pieces. Comfortable even with eyeglasses. Ideal use is in a home or office. Since these are open back they leak sound, so they would likely disturb anyone near you, such as on a subway or airplane. (My earphones of choice for travel are Bose QuietComfort 20i - VERY portable and outstanding noise cancellation.) I would not recommend them for studio work, DJ-ing, or use in a noisy environment.
