Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I purchased it after getting 50% discount on MRP. About 8900 INR. The very first thing I noticed was BASS. After reading all the reviews, I was of the opinion that these seriously lack BASS. But I was honestly surprised. The BASS is there. Just perfect. Not overdone like Beats Solo or my Denon 320 Urban Raver. I am not an expert on how music should sound. But these are seriously neutral. Thats something I was looking for in a headphone. I was able to hear even those beats that I didnt knew existed in the songs. For an amateur audiophile, these headphones are a bliss. Buy if you want a neutral sounding headphones. For more BASS, ATH M50x or Beyerdynamic DT 770 are better options in the same price range.

muy cómodos abrigan la oreja tienen la virtud de que no te aíslan y puedes tener una conversación sin acabar gritando lo mejor que he usado en auriculares no soy un gourmet del sonido pero se descubren matices en canciones que llevas toda la vida escuchando con altavoces lo que llama la atención es la localización del sonido: se oye como desde dentro, desde fuera, desde lejos a la derecha, etc, tal como se supone querían los compositores y los ingenieros de sonido; es algo que solo se aprecia con un buen home theater (y no tengo) de lo mejor que he comprado en electrónica en los últimos tiempos

Awesome headphone! These are said to be the best headphone under 200 USD, and boy are they really great! When they go on sale every year, they are less than half of the 200 which is great as well!

Failed the Sennheiser authenticity verification. But keeping it as the sound is all right for what I have paid for it.

cuffia di livello medio alto ma da un brand cosi blasonato mi sarei aspettato di piu.fermo restanto che comunque è un ottima cuffia ben costruita e comoda da indossare il suono è da rivedere,forse serve ancora un po di piu di rodaggio.

En general estoy satisfecho con la calidad de sonido, escenario sonoro y claridad. Mis únicas críticas son: 1) Carecen de bajos debajo de 40 Hz, 2) el medio-bajo suena punchy, incluso boomy y coloreado, y 3) las percusiones y sonidos transitorios suenan un poco lentos. Tampoco sirven para escuchar en smartphones, pero obvio ¿quien diablos compraría unos HD598 para escuchar un iPhone?

These are excellent headphones. I am thoroughly impressed. Very comfortable and great sound. I highly recommend Sennheiser. I upgraded from HD205 and am very happy with my decision. I liked the HD205 and wanted to stick with Sennheiser. These are great for the price and if I upgrade in the future, it will be with the same company. Great value.

Well made headphones, where the high to mid-range really shines. Great for acoustic music.

I really like these headphones, but im a bit concerned because my authentication failed on the seinheiser website, making me wonder if these are just fakes...
