Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Dopo più di un anno che le utilizzo non hanno manifestato nessun difetto. Laudio è eccellente. Con il cavo prolunga da 10 m permettono di ascoltare la TV comodamente sdraiato sul divano. Le consiglio.

Bought these for 100 during the xmas lightning deals. I still have the hd555, and it isnt a serious upgrade for me. 598, The leatherpad on the headband is a love or hate, I personally dont like it as much as the velour material. Though I think the leather will hold up longer and help the padding stay firm longer, too. The headpad of my 555 have gone mushy (typical of foam over time). I like the twist-and-detach plug of the 598. Update 3/17/2017: still awesome, no issues. I 3-string braided the 3m cable for almost a whole year, until recent I learned a 1.2m cable was also in the box...

Hoy los recibí aunque llegaban mañana. Al sacarlos de su caja había leído acerca de que necesitaban un amplificador y un DAC (si no sabes que es eso, yo menos sabía hace una semana) así que estaba con el miedo de que al sacarlos de la caja iba a no tener una buena experiencia. Aunque tengo un Iphone muy viejito (el 4) al conectarlo me dió gusto de que al menos se escuchaba la música pero en sí me dije que no tenían nada de extraordinario con unos audífonos de 600 pesos que había comprado hace 10 años. Dicho esto, bajé unos archivos FLAC y después de un tutorial en Youtube los convertí a Lossless de Apple (para el Iphone y Itunes.... OTRO ASUNTO en cuanto puse a Beethoven y su 5ta sinfonía seguido de Adele y su último álbum. Creo que nunca había apreciado los archivos Lossless porque no había tenido buenos audífonos para escucharlos. Soy un creyente de los FLAC y Lossless y viene de alguien que pensaba que el Iphone apesta al 100%. Con el tiempo comprare un buen AMP con Codec (El Mayflower Objective 2 me está haciendo ojitos.)

I am by no means an audio expert, but I think these headphones are fantastic for the price. Now I can appreciate other genres of music Ive never listened to.They really shine with classical music - great sound stage presence. Th excellent sound-stage presence gives me a sense of me being inside the music rather than the music being inside of me. Dont be influenced by reviews that compare these headphones to others that cost 3 times more. For those who dislike the lack of bass in open-back headphones, I suggest installing a music enhancing software sold here on Amazon.

Sound quality is good, but on the first pair the cord stopped working and had to have Amazon refund, and now on the second pair the plastic headband has cracked after a week of use. Poorly made it seems.

Gave this set to my wife for Christmas and she loved them. Great sound, construction quality and very good looking. I own a pair of Sennheiser PC 360s for gaming which sound really good and the comfort level is fantastic. These HD 598s sound just as good and Id probably say even better because of their well balanced distribution between highs and lows and the comfort level is awesome. I like how one can disconnect the cable from the headphones and the ability to use these with many devices. I wouldnt recommend using these during high intensity workouts but for walking and listening they should be fine. She can connect it to her phone, MP3 player, PC, HTPC receiver to listen to music or listen to a movie, whatever her mood is. Glad I bought these, Sennheiser makes great quality peripherals and at the Black friday price I got them at makes it even sweeter. Im not an audiophile but am very pleased with the experience of this purchase and can highly recommend these headphones. Amazon was on time with shipping and these were packaged well.

Easily the best headphones Ive ever used. They are open backed (or what ever the proper name is) so people around you can hear a little of what youre hearing but the sound is clear and perfect. They are comfortable to wear also.

Tienen un sonido bastante agradable y son realmente cómodos para uso normal. No cancelan el ruido, si en tu reproductor o celular lo tienes con volumen casi a tope, sí se escuchará al exterior. Por el precio y marca valen mucho la pena, le pondría excelente pero no por un detalle... si vas en avión, camión o con un tipo de asiento en que vas a durar un rato ahí y necesitas recargarte, no son lo más practico por su tamaño.
