Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

for sounds quality I would like to give it 4.5 stars, but for the price definitely 5 stars. I ordered a HD 598 for my friend couple years ago, it cost over 250. very easy to drive, sounds good for music or movie. you dont need a headphone amplifier.

Son los audífinos que más he disfrutado de escuchar. Tuve problemas con el cable por mi modo de uso en oficina, dado que mi propio brazo dañó el cable con el uso diario al machucarlo contra el escritorio. Ya he comprado otro cable para uso rudo esperando que sea más duradero, mas no fue tanto problema dado que solo tuve que cambiar el cable sin necesidad de desarmar los audífonos.

Jai voulu acheter ce casque sans lavoir écouté en remplacement dun HD 555, quelle erreur ! Produit vraiment décevant. Ce casque ne vaut vraiment pas son prix ! Ecoutez le avant dacheter si vous pouvez. Un ami est venu avec un AKG K702, jai pleuré ... Ce casque na que des médiums. Ils sont beaucoup trop avant, absence criante daigus ce qui nest pas acceptable pour un casque de ce prix. Voici quelques casques que jai pu écouter: - Audio Technica ATH M70X --> Confort au top mais ne vaut pas son prix non plus à mon sens, beaucoup trop cher. - Shure SRH840 --> Pas mal mais peut mieux faire. Son plus projeté mais bon casque dans lensemble. - Beyer DT770 Pro 80 Ohms --> Quelle déception ! Soit disant le casque de référence dans les studios denregistrement ... Courbe de fréquence en V (beaucoup de graves et daigus mais absence de mediums, notamment de bas mediums) Lécoute est plutôt agréable mais les mediums sont vraiment absents ! - lAKG K702 ! Le meilleur casque que jai pu tester à ce jour (et que jai gardé), Une tuerie en comparaison de ceux énumérés plus hauts ! Un régal dans toutes les fréquences. Seul casque équilibré, neutre qui conviendra pour le mixage ou écoute de musique ! Dans tous les cas, écoutez si vous pouvez ! Les avis sont souvent subjectifs mais jai fait écouter à mes parents, tous deux ont approuvé la victoire du AKG K702 sur le HD598SE par KO ! Je renvoie ce casque qui ne répond pas du tout à mes critères de qualité !

REVIEW FOR SPECIAL EDITION, not the standard HD598 - - Comfortable and very high sound quality. There is deep (yet tight) bass - no extra reverb, sharp highs, and a reasonable midrange. These reproduce without any distortion that I could identify, even at high volume and even at the boundaries of harmonic range. The headphones themselves are large and comfortable. They come with two cords - one short and one very long (maybe 10m). They are very adjustable (fit my large adult head, and tried them on my 7yo daughter too). These are NOT noise cancelling or even sound isolating head phones - you will still be able to hear the world around you. They have a standard 1/4 plug, but also a 3.5mm adapter so you can use it with your iphone, etc. They do not come with a case and are fairly large (bulky) for travel use. What makes these special edition different than the standard fare? No real clue. Seems like just an extra cable. The specs are the same. It is black, not tan.

Bought as a gift, he loved them.... sound is amazing, better than the big names!

Not that great to be honest Im happy I bought these when they were on sale because if they were full price I would have been very very disappointed and would probably return them for the money I expected sound to be muffled and deep base and sound but it wasnt even close compared to headsets that are half the price as these

Worth it..they are open so other people can hear what you are listening to. But its great for high quality music.
