> 24 hourSimpliSafe? More like SimpliJunk. Yeah you save money but you get what you pay for. Cameras are absurdly slow to activate, if they even activate at all. Someones on your property so you try to see what theyre doing by waking up the camera. Maybe three minutes later itll finally connect and by that time theyre gone or youre already dead. Batteries drain quickly and constantly need charging. Door sensors constantly go offline and then back online for no reason. The app is terrible. This system has never worked properly and Ive had it a year. Call SimpliSafe and they just laughed when I told them about how slow the cameras are to connect. Complete garbage company with a garbage product.

> 24 hourI just purchased my second Simplisafe home security system. After installing this system I tested all of the devices and I found that I could walk up to my motion sensors and even wave my hand in front of them, and it would not set off the alarm. Other times, it would sense me about 4 feet away, or sometimes 10 feet away. I called Simplisafe Tech Support and spent 2 hours on the phone testing the system only to have them tell me that there was nothing wrong. I told them if I can walk up to this sensor and wave my hand in front of it and it not see me, I think some thing is wrong. They sent me a new sensor and after I installed the new sensor I could still walk right by and not set off the alarm. I have to say I don’t feel safe with my Simplisafe system and if you already have one of their systems, I would test your motion sensors to see if they are working correctly.

> 24 hourJust do a google search and youll find out you can order a $2 remote and press it while breaking in and it will jam the wireless signal. A $25 Ham radio programmed to the same signal can jam every system within 2-3 miles. Guess the old saying you get what you pay for is true

> 24 hourWe left for an time the day after our SimpliSafe arrived. I attached the door sensors and the motion detectors, and set the system up. Tested, and everything worked as it should. Came home after our trip, put in our code, and all was well. We set it every night, and just feel more secure with it activated. I need to finish with tech to set up the dispatch notification, but other than that, all good. I did get heavier Velcro for the control panel, which works just fine.

> 24 hourCharging me $10 a month despite me choosing the option NOT to monitor when setting it up. No email verifying subscription or a free trial or anything. You can’t cancel subscription on the app or their website. Their initial email said to ask if questions, but when you try to cancel by replying the email bounces back!! You must call to cancel - that makes no sense in this era except that they are trying to get as much money as possible. Optional monitoring? I think not. No, no, just no! Stay away!

Installation was smooth although the manual shows that the motion sensors should be installed 4 to 5 feet higher but after speaking to support, it can be higher, around 6 feet. I wished I knew that since its hard to remove once its stuck to the wall. The system also warned that and entry is open although the app shows everything is ok and closed. We have a 15 to 20 lb dog that triggers the motion sensors so we end up just using the Home option vs Away. Support was ok but i spoke to 2 different person and both yawned on the call which is not a big deal to me The 2 support individuals I spoke to were not so confident in their answers. The person I spoke to struggled to explain the difference between Home and Away. I called technical support but when I asked a question that I assumed the support person did not know the answer I was directed to the support page on the SimpliSafe website. I like the potential and its a good system and inexpensive MRC but leaves a lot for improvement.
