Very easy to follow installation instructions. Base station had minor problem finding WiFI, but after texting for help was up and going in a few minutes. Just had to reset by removing batteries

2 of my window/door sensors are low battery!! Not happy with that. But still good system

This is the worst security system out there a waste of money compared to ring or nest.

Had trouble with the adhesive on the keypad and the motion sensor and ultimately had to replace the keypad adhesive after one night and ended up screwing the motion sensor to the wall. Overall I still give this a 10/10 recommendation because the system is awesome and gives real time mobile notifications on when the alarm is turned on or off as well as an announcement on the base station. Everything is easily accessible on the app and is very user friendly. Also there is the add on feature where you can add more equipment as you need and the setup is super easy!

Away from our vacation home for extended periods, we rely on the simplysafe system to operate however, its gone offline twice requiring updates which can only be performed in person.. so consequently the system isnt protecting the property or at least I cant communicate with it ??? not very reliable

I bought this system directly from SimpliSafe’s website and have subscribed to its $14.99/month plan but being an Amazon Prime member, would like to give my review as I strongly feel about it. In today’s world, with the way the technology is advancing, I think it is absolutely unfair that SimpliSafe doesn’t provide the remote arming and disarming of the security system on their app even in the $14.99/month plan! One needs to subscribe to $24.99/month to get it even though they don’t want all the other useless features. SimpliSafe, you are selling a security system that goes in hundreds of dollars, at least have the courtesy to give this feature on your app for free even if a customer is not subscribing to your monthly plans!! It’s a basic need!! It’s even more surprising and mind boggling that you don’t provide the feature even in the $15/month subscription! What kind of world you live in SimpliSafe??? It’s utter shameful and highly unethical!! It’s not about money! It’s customer satisfaction!!

I love this system. I replaced a system that was 12 years old, that I had purchased from our previous alarm company. The old system was much more expensive and had to be installed by them. It lacked all of the modern features like remote monitoring and use (by us). SimpliSafe is very easy to install and use. The customer service is really good as well. I really love the app for both installing the system and using it. It is so easy to arm/disarm and check the status of. I love being able to check on my home while we are away. The main hub uses both WiFi and cellular as backup. When I first got the system it had an older cellular modem that is no longer compatible with the network. They sent me an updated modem and instructions for installing it. It was simple and free. Their service really is great. The only downside I have noticed are: 1) The adhesive on the door and window sensors did not stick that well to a couple of my windows. I had to replace the adhesive but honestly, I think I may end up getting a stronger adhesive for all of the sensors and replacing them all down the road. 2) The sensor in my daughters room said it was unable to connect. They sent me a replacement sensor. It has since given me that message one time, but it has been working for weeks now. Perhaps it was just a glitch.
