Greater than one weekHad trouble with the adhesive on the keypad and the motion sensor and ultimately had to replace the keypad adhesive after one night and ended up screwing the motion sensor to the wall. Overall I still give this a 10/10 recommendation because the system is awesome and gives real time mobile notifications on when the alarm is turned on or off as well as an announcement on the base station. Everything is easily accessible on the app and is very user friendly. Also there is the add on feature where you can add more equipment as you need and the setup is super easy!

> 3 dayI purchased this product and returned it as the motion sensor did not function as advertised. It was highly faulty, and did not seem to detect any movement at all. That on its own would only give this a 2 or 3 star, as the other components seemed fine. The return process and cancellation seemed easy at first. I called in July 2022 and was quickly processed, returned the equipment, and received my refund. A few months later I found out they had still been charging my credit card a monthly fee, despite the July 2022 cancellation, and the fact that all equipment had been returned. When I called to get a refund, I spent hours on the phone with them, and was told to email them multiple times, and they would not take any action. In the end, I had to contact my credit card company. Simplisafe has deceptive practices, and clearly makes it as difficult as possible to cancel their service in an effort to keep people paying the monthly fee, even when they have cancelled service.

> 3 dayI have been a customer of SimpliSafe since they started. As theyve raised their monitoring prices, and upgraded their devices, the service and products have gotten worse. Do NOT buy their Water Sensors. They have admitted they are too sensitive and you will get FALSE alarms and calls from the monitoring system. I get them almost EVERY DAY! In the winter when I keep my thermostat at 68 degrees, this sets off ALL my water sensors. So I have to turn the thermostat up to 70 degrees and thus it costs me $150 a month in electric bills to keep the water sensors from falsely going off every day. And when Ive had real floods, ironically the water sensors have NOT gone off! There are better and less expensive monitoring products and companies out there since SimpliSafe started, including Wyze and RING. Go with them instead. SimpliSafes life is clearly coming to an end with all the new companies coming out that are better and more affordable!

> 3 daySimplisafe is an affordable, easy to install security system. No obnoxious sales marketing tactics. No hard wiring needed. Monitoring works with or without wifi. Working fine with just their cell signal. Took me about 15 minutes to set up the basic package. We have had a few false alarms due to our own forgetting we had the system and they called right away, even to check on us after we disarmed the system. Was a much more affordable deal than its two competitors R & V. I actually canceled V after getting conflicting, confusing text messages and practically no phone support; their installer came and tried to upsell me more product. The Simplisafe equipment looks great and is super easy to install. My only wish is that they would make an alarm detector of existing smoke alarms-as we have eight hardwired and I dont feel like replacing them. I highly recommend this system.

> 3 dayThe installation was a piece of cake. My only problem was I couldnt connect to my base unit from the phone app or through the website. It was frustrating until the tech support had me read the serial number of the base unit. The reason connection didnt work was I entered the wrong serial number! Duh!

> 3 dayWe started with 1st gen several years ago and last year updated to the new model. We feel good that it is doing what it’s supposed to do. Contract monitoring is extremely fast to call when we have trip an alarm or smoke detector goes off. We only had one unknown false alarm over the years from a motion detector. Could have been a bug but we’ll never know. Most alarms focus on contact sensors on windows although the normal burglar would just break the window. SimpliSafe allows you to customize your setup. We chose glass breakage sensors over contacts and have had no false sound alarms. We pay $15 per month for monitoring. Big name company we dropped was charging us over $45 per month. Overall, very satisfied!
