> 24 hourSo, I have 2 cats who cannot help but break into my sliding mirrored door closet. It was becoming a nightmare and then I came across this! Ever since I have made this purchase and put this on my closet door, I have noticed the attempt my cats have made to break in and their epic fails! I havent had to refold anything or hang up my clothes again. They have gotten in once or twice by being persistent but I can deal with that instead of finding them in my closet every day. If you have 2 sneaky and very smart cats then yes, this should do the trick.

> 24 hourThese sliding door locks have been perfect for baby proofing my sons room. His closet actually has 3 sliding doors and although I was hesitant to purchase at first, Im so glad that I did! One package has two locks so it was just enough to put one on two of his closet doors. Each lock rests against the middle door, keeping it in place. Installation only took a few seconds couldnt have been easier. Unlocking them is simple and they remain locked as long as you make sure that it is secure (just press down on the angled piece to be sure). I havent tried to remove them yet but Im sure theyll leave behind a little bit of residue, which can be easily removed with a razor blade and some elbow grease.

> 24 hourSo far it works but Im still very disappointed. If I didnt need these immediately I would return for what I bought before. They are the same unfortunate PC (polycarbonate) instead of Polypropylene. This brand claimed to use PP so I was ready to buy. The other ones I have are the same other than being more inconspicuous. These will draw the attention of my disabled child....they are impossible not to notice if you pay any attention to the door IMO. They are three times the size of the ones I already have and they work fine. This is just unecessary and bad false representation.

> 24 hourSo Id say Im more tossed up between a 3 and a 4 star review. Id say 4 because it does work! Sticks good, and locks the window and doors in place.... but..... we have these real light weight flimsy fake wood sliding doors in our apartment. And some how my son figured out, if he pulls just right and does it enough times it pops the latch and with one last pull it pops it loose.... so ultimately if there is no slack in your window or door its good. But with some slack and room to slide? Its not that great. Also if someone is super strong they could ultimately break it real easy. But otherwise its a good product. So I rate it 3 and a half.

> 24 hourThese are pretty good for sliding closet doors. My kids would not stop getting into the closet and I put these high up on each side and it’s held so far been about a month

> 24 hourI had considered and looked at dowels for the bottom track of the mirrored closet doors but saw this when I was looking for child proofing. It seems to work fine and is much better than having to bend over constantly to remove dowels. I did this because I wanted to make sure a cat could not get in the closet. It is easy to use and there are two per package, so I have an extra just in case. The closet doors are quite lightweight and I would not use it for the double-pane patio doors, although it may work also.

> 24 hourThese are by far the best childproofing sliding door locks we have found, and weve tried a few. Theres not much to say except: they work, they look good, and theyre sturdy enough to have survived many attempts by our toddler to open the doors without any signs of distress. My only piece of advice is to be careful how close you put them to the door it will be holding shut. Too far away, and your child may be able to a.) stick their fingers in the crack and potentially slam them in there still OR b.) pull at the door with enough momentum to potentially damage the lock. Too close and youll either a.) have the lock under constant strain if the door its holding back is constantly applying pressure to it OR b.) it will be harder to set the lock with one hand because youll have to always push the door its holding back away simultaneously while setting the lock. That last scenario (a touch too close) is what Im dealing with on one of our doors, but its only a very minor annoyance. Just follow the directions on the product and youll be fine. I, being a typical dad, just went for it and put it slightly too close. Installed the rest with a very slight gap and theyre perfect.

> 24 hourI placed this on my sliding glass closet. I have an almost 2 year old and I was very worried about squished fingers and his little toes. I put it so the door doesnt budge at all. He doesnt fight it, he just thinks it no longer opens and my problem is solved. Worth every penny.

> 24 hourWe needed a way to lock our daughters closet so she wont play with her toys while shes supposed to be sleeping (including the choking hazard toys) and this is perfect! It was super easy to install, locks easily, and the door cannot be opened when the lock is engaged. Make sure to place it at or above adult height so kids cannot unlock it themselves.

> 24 hourI got these to keep my 20 lb. naughty Ragdoll kitty out of my sliding door closets. I also have a variety of anti-kitty cabinet locks and bungees on cabinets. I almost gave this device a 1 star, because the first time after I installed one, the cat kept banging on the door and managed to jiggle it loose enough to get in. The 2nd. time he banged the door so much he broke wood off of the bottom, but didnt get it open. I guess he decided it was too much work, and now seems to have given it. Was easy to install and it didnt fall off even with kitty banging incessantly on the door. So...for now Ill give it a 4 star!
