> 3 dayI got these to keep my 20 lb. naughty Ragdoll kitty out of my sliding door closets. I also have a variety of anti-kitty cabinet locks and bungees on cabinets. I almost gave this device a 1 star, because the first time after I installed one, the cat kept banging on the door and managed to jiggle it loose enough to get in. The 2nd. time he banged the door so much he broke wood off of the bottom, but didnt get it open. I guess he decided it was too much work, and now seems to have given it. Was easy to install and it didnt fall off even with kitty banging incessantly on the door. So...for now Ill give it a 4 star!

> 3 dayWorks great as a child lock for our back patio sliding glass door.

> 3 dayAs someone else mentioned, theres a pin that the front of this lock rotates around as the lock is engaged/disengaged and it fell out. I was able to feed it back in, but Ill likely need to put a drop of super glue on the bottom to seal it in. The pin itself doesnt seem to need to rotate, so it should be okay to glue, but if the pin falls out this product doesnt work at all, so Ill have to figure something out if that doesnt work (glue a cover to the bottom so the pin doesnt fall out.)

> 3 dayI had considered and looked at dowels for the bottom track of the mirrored closet doors but saw this when I was looking for child proofing. It seems to work fine and is much better than having to bend over constantly to remove dowels. I did this because I wanted to make sure a cat could not get in the closet. It is easy to use and there are two per package, so I have an extra just in case. The closet doors are quite lightweight and I would not use it for the double-pane patio doors, although it may work also.

Greater than one weekI love this item. Very easy to apply. My two year old son was repeatedly unlocking the sliding glass door and going outside. This little device does a very nice job of preventing him from getting out once he unlocks the door. I have peace of mind knowing that my son will not sneak outside without my knowledge. You can activate the lock by simply flipping the device to the lock position, which makes the door unable to slide open. If you want to open the door, simply pull out on the tab and the device flattens....allowing the door to slide open as usual. It dos not catch or make it any more difficult to open. This is a must have item for people with small children or just added security preventing intruders from entering your home.

Greater than one weekWorks as intended. Put this on my toddlers sliding closest door to keep him from throwing all his clothes on the floor in the morning. Very easy install- just clean spot, peel and stick. We did apply a little pressure and didnt let him mess with the doors or lock for about 12 hours. They hold up well to him trying to pull the doors open and are very to lock into place. Would buy again.

> 3 dayThese work as you would expect. The main issue I have is that after about 2 weeks of use one of them fell off and it no longer will stick. I have to go buy some more double sided tape to get it to work. But I think for the most part these are great. We use them all the time to keep out toddler in the house now that she has figured out how to open our slider. Maybe if there was a better quality tape it would last longer but for the price its does what you expect just not for terribly long.
