These work as you would expect. The main issue I have is that after about 2 weeks of use one of them fell off and it no longer will stick. I have to go buy some more double sided tape to get it to work. But I think for the most part these are great. We use them all the time to keep out toddler in the house now that she has figured out how to open our slider. Maybe if there was a better quality tape it would last longer but for the price its does what you expect just not for terribly long.

These work great for keeping our 1 year-old son from opening the mirrored closet doors in his room. We installed it at the top and it is easy to collapse to open the door and then reck once closed again. One note is that the picture shows that they are completely clear, but there is a pad where it touches the other door that is not clear (and the adhesive to attach to the door is white). It doesn’t affect anything since you can’t really see it when it’s in lock position but was not what I was expecting based on the photo.

So, I have 2 cats who cannot help but break into my sliding mirrored door closet. It was becoming a nightmare and then I came across this! Ever since I have made this purchase and put this on my closet door, I have noticed the attempt my cats have made to break in and their epic fails! I havent had to refold anything or hang up my clothes again. They have gotten in once or twice by being persistent but I can deal with that instead of finding them in my closet every day. If you have 2 sneaky and very smart cats then yes, this should do the trick.

Great product, however. We have a 5th wheel like so many the closet slider is up front and you need to lock them in place before traveling. I have had to replace the supplied plastic latches a couple times now because they are brittle. I saw these and thought why not try them out. Do love the ease of use, however the tape that comes on them do not work well on glass and wont stick the way you would expect. Never fear, double side tape to the rescue. worked like a charm.

I bought this to put on our sliding glass door that leads to our back deck. Our toddler is now y’all enough to unlock the door and able to unlock the screen sliding door and get out to our deck. She liked doing this when I would be swapping laundry or in the bathroom. Super scary because she can also undo the latch to our gate on the back deck. I put this up as high as I could (while she was napping) on our door and let it sit for a few hours withought being used then put it to the test. This allowed our door to open less than an inch!

Work great just a little hard to unlock for me.

Im sure these would work well on sliding patio doors because Ive used similar products as a deterrent, but we use these on sliding closet doors to keep the cat out. Easy to install and easy to use.

Bubba is my 2 year old son. Bubba gets into everything. Bubba does not stop when you yell no, stop or get away from that. Bubba knows the snacks are in the pantry. Bubba is about 30 inches tall. Thus pantry lock on at 60 inches off the floor. Bubba now asks please.

So Id say Im more tossed up between a 3 and a 4 star review. Id say 4 because it does work! Sticks good, and locks the window and doors in place.... but..... we have these real light weight flimsy fake wood sliding doors in our apartment. And some how my son figured out, if he pulls just right and does it enough times it pops the latch and with one last pull it pops it loose.... so ultimately if there is no slack in your window or door its good. But with some slack and room to slide? Its not that great. Also if someone is super strong they could ultimately break it real easy. But otherwise its a good product. So I rate it 3 and a half.
