> 3 dayThese small devices are a Godsend! My cat is continually trying to gain access to my closet. She loves it in there; however, my clothes do not. They end up covered in cat hair! I tried unsuccessfully blocking the closet doors with other items and she always found a way around them. Other methods also failed. These locks have finally solved my problem. They are easy to install, just peel & stick. They are completely flat and out of the way when I need access to the items in my closet. When I shut the doors, it just takes a second to engage the locks and my cat can no longer get inside! I would recommend these items. They were exactly as described.

> 3 dayThis worked to keep my cats out of the closet. Somehow they learned how to slide the door open. So far it’s working, but it’s cheap plastic that can easily break if not careful when locking and unlocking. It would also be nice to have it in different colors.

> 3 dayI love my cats, but can’t stand them getting into my closet! I tried velcroing the doors shut (only mildly effective), putting something in the sliding track to stop them (rarely worked), putting scary stuff in my closet (mostly resulting in scaring myself). I was so frustrated and randomly searched for something that would stop the closet door from opening. Found these, and for the price had to give it a try for my sanity. Now I never have to worry about coming home and seeing my closet partway open and clothes all over the floor! No more fur on clothes! No more cats getting cozy on expensive shoes! Super easy to install and, more importantly, it actually works! Whoever came up with these, thank you for giving me peace of mind.

> 3 dayThis little gadget has prevented my little one from opening slider windows, doors and anything that can basically opens sideways. Very strong and sturdy, because even my friends and family are amazed what this simple stick on surface door lock can actually do. The 3M adhesive is very strong and hard to remove, so I expect many years of use until my child is old enough to reach the 6 ft placement to unlock it. As a father / parent that works from home, I highly recommend this product to prevent your ninja child from getting themselves in a sticky situation that they shouldnt be in without your knowledge!

> 3 dayThis simple lock works perfectly to keep my little hooligan of a cat from opening the closet doors anymore! It took about two seconds to put in place and the doors still slide easily when its unlocked. The little monkey will simply have to find trouble elsewhere now.

20-11-2024**UPDATE 6/5/2020** I have to take this down from 5 stars to three. We ended up having two of them rip off (not with us intentionally taking them off) the door and taking the paint off with them. And then when taking off the others the paint came off as well. They served their purpose well, and it could have just been because it’s old paint. But now we have to make sure all that is covered up for our move. -Original- We’ve had these up for a few months now. They work really well, the only issue is sometimes we forget they’re there and try to open then can’t (user error lol.) we got them because our cat had learned how to push open the sliding closet doors and we have smaller things we were afraid he could choke on in there. They do the job so well! Very easy installation. We haven’t had to take them off yet, will update when we do on whether paint comes off with it or not!

Greater than one weekEver had a cat that insists on sneaking around in your closet? What about a cat that uses your hanging clothes as a ladder sort of like in American Ninja - clawing, scratching, pulling threads until only shredded fabric is left? Thats been me for awhile. Ive been baffled by the fact that the closet doors are difficult for humans to open, getting caught on the rollers and what not. However, my bengal cat appears to have the strength of 5 humans and opens the doors with no difficulty at all. She apparently knows how to pull duct tape off the doors as well. I saw this sliding door lock on Amazon after researching tons of options. I decided to give it a try. It worked the first time and every time since. Its easy to install and highly effective. My cat has not gotten in the closet since the day I put it on. Now, if she evolves with posable thumbs, I may be in trouble but for right now, I am confident my clothes are safe from her razor sharp claws.
