> 3 dayI love my cats, but can’t stand them getting into my closet! I tried velcroing the doors shut (only mildly effective), putting something in the sliding track to stop them (rarely worked), putting scary stuff in my closet (mostly resulting in scaring myself). I was so frustrated and randomly searched for something that would stop the closet door from opening. Found these, and for the price had to give it a try for my sanity. Now I never have to worry about coming home and seeing my closet partway open and clothes all over the floor! No more fur on clothes! No more cats getting cozy on expensive shoes! Super easy to install and, more importantly, it actually works! Whoever came up with these, thank you for giving me peace of mind.

> 3 daySo Id say Im more tossed up between a 3 and a 4 star review. Id say 4 because it does work! Sticks good, and locks the window and doors in place.... but..... we have these real light weight flimsy fake wood sliding doors in our apartment. And some how my son figured out, if he pulls just right and does it enough times it pops the latch and with one last pull it pops it loose.... so ultimately if there is no slack in your window or door its good. But with some slack and room to slide? Its not that great. Also if someone is super strong they could ultimately break it real easy. But otherwise its a good product. So I rate it 3 and a half.

> 3 dayAbsolutely great and innovative idea... My 2yo loved opening and shutting her sliding closet doors at night to play and this put an immediate end to that. Just took it off with dental floss as someone recommended (after trying to pull it off) and the tape has horrendously buggered up the door. Lots of residue that I cant get off. This just goes to show how strong it is though so cant really complain about that. Just be aware if this is a temporary fix and you might have a permanent mark left behind.

> 3 dayWe travel full time in our RV with a dog and two cats. To keep the dog from eating the cat food, we leave their food in the shower, which has three sliding glass doors. We kept the doors closed most of the way so only the cats could fit through, but our big 75 pound dog figured out how to push the doors open with his nose! Now we have these locks on the doors and the dog cant get to the cat food. Plus, its very easy to open them up to allow the doors to slide completely open when we need them too. We LOVE this product!!

> 3 dayFor those who have a cat whos learned how to open sliding closet doors (and then climb your clothes with her claws to perch on an upper shelf), the struggle is real. Shes been carefully watching me latch this door lock, but even if she could do it (I wouldnt put it past her), its nicely installed with firm adhesive way out of her reach. If youre tired of claw punctures in your suit jackets, runs in your silk blouses, and tears in your skirts, this will solve your problem.

> 3 dayOur baby figured out how to open sliding closet doors, and was always getting into the coat closet. We had a small pet/baby gate blocking it off, but this didnt look very good and made it more difficult for adults to get into the closet. I found this door lock on Amazon and decided to try it. It is SO much better. Just stick it on the door above the childs reach, its easy to lock and unlock, and looks about as nice as child locks are going to look on a door. Definitely recommend if you have a child or pet opening sliding closet doors.

> 3 daySo my 2 1/2 year old decided one night that she REALLY wanted to go to the park. Of course at this age reason is not something she knows of, yet. She decided that she could get through the standard sliding glass door lock and remove the piece of wood that was also in the door, did I mention how strong she is, so that she could let herself out the door. Well after much freaking out and discussing how to keep her in the house, I hop on Amazon and was amazed to see this product recommended for me! It was like Amazon knew exactly what I had been discussing and found the best solution possible. Ordered this baby and BAM! next day it was here. I was super excited to try it out. Put up at the top of the door where I know my daughters Houdini magic couldnt possibly reach, I sat back watching and waiting for her to try it out. I will be honest I did laugh pretty hard when she exclaimed, What the H! I knew that I won this round. I highly recommend for any parent who has a child capable of Houdini magic too!
