> 3 dayThere endless options for flashlights. I’ve always stuck with streamlight, very bright, decent battery life, and great for what I use it for. The light travels very well, unlike cheaper versions. This is my second one in 7 years. Durability is there. Well constructed, can be left on charger without the fear of overcharging, which in turn your flash light is always charge. Never have to mess with AA’s. Overall good little light weight flash light.

21-11-2024My husband has had a few of these, he has ran over them with forklifts, I have washed them (both washer and dryer), plus the day to day beating that they take and they still keep shining! The ONLY reason we have had to buy a total of 3 is because of getting lost/stolen/left behind situations. I am sure whomever found the other two (assuming they have a way to charge it) still have functioning perfectly bright flashlights!

> 3 dayHeads-up, this Strion has fewer lumens than some other models, 375 lumens. Take a look. DS model is about 1 longer to accommodate having a 2nd button at the lens/light part of the unit. 500 Lumens is sufficient for parking enforcement citation illumination purposes. I use this model daily, its fantastic! Others I ordered came in 650 or 675 lumen model. Have yet to really field test this 650 model as it was a gift.

> 3 dayIm a nightshift Patrol Officer and got tired of wasting money on flashlights that would work a short while and then leave me in the dark. I NEED my light to be dependable ALL the time EVERY time. I wish I had bought this light sooner because I would be money ahead. This light is a nice size to slide into my pant pocket as a backup light. I bought the Stinger HL for my primary. The Strion has a really nice beam pattern and floods a car well on traffic stops. It is a little bit short to hold under your arm and uniform covers it sometimes so I like the Stinger better on stops. I like the switch on the tailcap and it works as it is designed .... but.... I prefer an on demand level selection instead of the press and hold to change brightness. As in you have to hold switch down for a couple seconds and wait for the level to change. I would rather just bump the switch and get what I need immediately. I do like how you just double click for strobe and its there right now instead of having to cycle through to find it. Ive been using it on Duty and off for about a month and I really like it so far. Battery life is good and plenty bright for all around patrol work. It is a little pricey but I think worth it after all the money Ive blown past years on junk. I feel like it should be more around an even 100.00 for what it is but Im happy with what I got for my $$$. It seems tough enough also. Ive dropped it several times with no ill effect. It is the PERFECT off duty EDC light. slides right in my back pocket next to my wallet. I plan to buy a couple more to mount in permanent locations in my house and cars. I give it 5 stars because my gripes are just MY personal preferences and not a flaw in material or quality.

Greater than one weekAmazing light output! It can actually be a little much in some circumstances. I use this light everyday at work (as a police officer). I have only experienced one issue with this, which I also experienced with the regular Strion LED that I had prior to this light. The issue occurs when using this light for an extended time period (around 10 minutes straight). It seems that when the light gets too hot, the electronics shut it off. For most circumstances, this isnt an issue. If you are going to be using this light for extended time periods, I would recommend finding another light. Even with the type of work I do, I hardly ever use it for that long at a time. As with any light, always carry a second light if it is crucial to what you are doing.

> 3 dayI work as a mechanic and I have used one of these Strion C4 lights for years now. Yes the button has problems once in a while, I replaced 2 buttons in 3 years. This light fits in your chest pocket and the brightness is amazing. Being in my chest pocket I have dropped this light on the ground a lot. I really mean A LOT. Every day, multiple times a day. I have dropped this thing so many times I have worn away the black annodizing on all the exterior angles and the raised area around the lense looks like it has been beaten with gravel. Lense never even cracked. Never failed due to dropping or impact. I dont believe any other light this high tech would stand up to as much abuse as I have done to this light and it keeps working. Now I work as a guard and of course my light of choice is another one of these.

> 3 dayI love this flashlight! I use it for work, I have dropped it several times and it just keeps going! The only downside, it does get pretty warm when you’re using it for long periods of time, and the light dims just a little bit when that happens. But I absolutely love the flashlight and get compliments on it almost every time I use it! It’s super bright for how compact it is! The only reason for 4 stars is for the fact that it gets pretty warm and dims a little bit

> 3 dayThis is a Great little rechargeable flashlight. I had one previously and lost it, so I bought two more. One to keep in my bedroom night stand and one for work. It is BRIGHT. i mean like when you turn it on it is so bright people near you will claim that they can hear it it is so bright. the only thing that could make this flashlight better would be if it was cheaper.
