Greater than one weekI have multiple Streamlight products, so I had high expectations for the Strion rechargable LED, and I am not disappointed. The flashlight is extremely bright for its size and fits perfectly in your hand. The button cap controls are intuitive and easy to operate (I cant say this for some other brands of tactical-style flashlights I own). My only complaints are minor ones: First, I was really looking forward to having the car charger, so that the flashlight could be recharged on camping trips. I was disappointed to find, however, that using the car charging cord requires the use of the charging bracket, which I intend to mount to the wall in the laundry room. I guess I was expecting that it would be a cord capable of clipping onto the light and charging it independent of the wall charger. I will look into getting a second wall bracket so I can utilize the car charger separately. My other observation is really minor, and that is about the way the bracket mounts to the wall. Given the force it takes to pull the flashlight from the bracket, I want to make sure the screws hit a stud in the wall. The bracket, however, is made such that the screws are on the horizontal axis (if you mount it so the flashlight lens is up, as they recommend) not the vertical axis, so that it would be easy to screw into a single stud. Additionally the holes are too far apart for the two screws to hit one stud. It is a minor annoyance for me, and perhaps there is a compelling reason why it is designed that way, but its one of those things that leaves me scratching my head. All that being said, however, this light and its accessories are extremely well made, and I wouldnt hesitate to buy another. Updated note: So I guess I should have done more research to know exactly what I was getting (but this was an Amazon lighting deal so I still came out OK price-wise). I now see that this flashlight is available in a different set, which includes the two charger cords and two holders. The regular price on Amazon for this option seems to be better than if you purchase the second base separately. Still very happy with my purchase, however.

> 3 dayI retired my Strion LED that I had for four years and upgraded it with the Strion HL. Dont worry, the Strion LED is at home and still working good as new (even after uncountable drops and rolling off several car hoods and smashing into the concrete.) I thought the regular Strion LED was bright... until I had the Strion HL in my hand. The products description of battery life is accurate. The switch has a nice click sound and feel that lets you know the light has been activated. The battery charger has a good secure fit and works quickly. BUYER BEWARE, this light is extreamly bright and will leave you seeing spots if you stare into the light bulb. (Why would you do this? Good question.) The quality appears the same as the Strion LED and I have no worries with the product lasting or Streamlight standing by their tools. No regrets on this purchase.

> 3 dayI bought this light to take the place of my Streamlight Stinger LED at work. I work in an automotive shop and the Stinger was a little big to be completely portable. I wanted a light to wear on my belt in a holster so I always had it on me. I bought this Strion light with a leather open top belt holster and could not be happier with the set up. This little light is very bright and quality made. I would highly recommend this light to anyone that is an auto mechanic. Update 2022: So, I have had this light for 9 years now and I changed professions to a computer programmer in 2015, so I went from all day use and abuse to just occasional use at home. The things I can say about this light is that it is super bright, but you dont want to keep it on the high setting all the time, it will drain the battery fairly quickly. This light has held up to wear and tear in an automotive environment, dropping it has not phased it. In 2021, I started having problems with the light. The light would no longer respond to the switch, it would stay on all the time and would cycle through the three brightness settings. I had to remove the battery to shut it off. I did some research and found that the actual led unit was the issue, so I searched for a replacement. I had some trouble finding an exact replacement for the HL version, but I finally found one at brightguy (STR747603) for ~ $30 with shipping. The unit was easy to replace, and my light is back to normal now. I am still using the original battery that came with the light in 2013, which is pretty impressive. Even though the led unit failed, this is still an awesome light, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

> 3 dayI had been buying the Strion LED versions since I lose these all the time, and this time I bought the LED HL. The LED HL is much better. I also have the full size Stinger HPL. The Stinger is a little brighter overall but the center part of the beam is much brighter than the outside of the beam. This Strion gives a very even light pattern which I think is better. Likely the Strion will stay on my belt and the Stinger will stay in the car.

> 3 dayI use on a semi, i bought because i lost supplier of switches, then i found on amazon. Now i have two working units. FYI, for years i would buy new tail on and off switch, then a cop told me his light, he just screws off end and cleans contact between spring and battery. Damn that works too. I have 5 switches. Over 10 years. This light is very good, will take double the money to get afew percentages better . Not worth chaseing a few extra lumins,

> 3 dayI am a police officer and I originally bought my first Streamlight Strion right out of the academy. I replaced a halogen flashlight the department I work for provided and I must say it was like night and day switching to the Streamlight. This product was perfect for me. Its compact and light weight which was perfect for me to add to my duty belt. I bought a flashlight holder for my rig and it was also easy to remove when I needed it in hurry. This flashlight also comes with a wall charger and a car charger. When you charge the flashlight, theres a red light that stays on so you know that its charging and the red light will flash when it is fully charged. I highly recommend this flash light for anyone whether their life depends on it or when they are in an emergency situation. Ive had this flashlight for more than five years and use it almost daily. Ive dropped it numerous times and it still works. Streamlight is also a great company to work with their customer service. The on and off button started to malfunction and luckily I lived near the Streamlight warehouse and I told their employee the problems I was having with it. Within 15 minutes they replaced the faulty on/off button and it has been 100% ever since. I have to say their warranty was great because I didnt have to pay a dime. I definitely stand behind this product!

> 3 dayIve had a Stiron for about 5 years of hard and constant use, and its hands down one one of the best lights Ive ever owned. Great mix between spot and flood, bright white light, very durable, and the battery life is almost unbelievable. I Just recently replaced it after I dropped the old one down an elevator shaft and it worked 95% for about a half a year after that but that 5-6 story fall did something and I couldnt trust it for on duty use anymore. Could have probably gone longer to be honest but my life depends on my gear being at 100% so I replaced it. I keep a Stinger in my duty bag and the Stiron is always on my person. Cannot recommend Streamlight enough

> 3 dayA home inspector friend said after complete out my cheaper flashlights that’s I needed a stream light so I ordered one Within a month of owning it failed. Luckily I am 10 minutes from the factory so I drove over and had it serviced. They mailed it back and it failed again an hour into using it. I promptly drove over and said something is wrong. Apparently the battery is the issue and they replaced the battery and it’s been fine ever since. Besides that issue it’s a great flashlight . Super bright yet small.
