Wasnt sure at first, but this makes a huge difference in maintaining a good clean tip on your soldering iron.

Cleaned my tip. I use a paste at work but this stuff is like powder cleans better then the paste in my opinion

I had a large soldering iron that would not tin at all, until I tried this product. It’s definitely a bit Expensive, however it does exactly what it says.

If youve sprung for a nice iron and some quality tips, then this is a no brainer. Its likely not going to work any miracles for tips that have been neglected, but if you start using this on your tips from the beginning, you will be surprised how long they stay looking and working like new.

Does everything you would expect it to. You can also tin your soldered parts by scraping a little power out onto them and heating it with a heat gun.

I make stained glass pieces which need to be soldered. I thought my soldering tip was done for but this worked like a charm. Definitely extends the life of your soldering tip.

Doesnt stick very well even on a new tip. Not impressed at all.

This stuff surprised me! I dont know how I have been soldering for years without it. Takes a 1 second dip into this, a stab into my Hakko 599B-02 Solder Tip Cleaning Wire and Holder, and I have a perfect looking iron ready for use. It is cheating it works so well!!
