> 3 dayNot sure what they mean by “ adhesion “ since itʻs basically solder paste and sal ammonia that you dip a hot soldering iron into to clean and retin. It works fine.

24-04-2025If youre debating whether to buy this, you might as well. Its a very convenient way to clean and tin your tip, and is as good as any other tip tinner Ive used in the past. Tip: You can squeeze off a little bit of flux paste into the tip tinner tin to wet and wipe your soldering tip conveniently, or to quickly transfer more flux to your board without setting down the iron. Thats what I do anyway.

> 3 dayGreat product and quickly tins my irons tip. Wonderfully easy and worth the money for me. Small package with sticky foam padded bottom you can stick to your iron holder, etc which is nice to have it close by when needed.

Greater than one weekIt works great and its really easy to use. It seems to last a good amount of time as well. Ive been using it for about 2 months and I still have more than half left in the pot.

> 3 dayI didnt realize that this material was hard, also its an aggressive cleaner that will melt when heat is applied. I will use it on my old soldering iron, but certainly not my new iron. My mistake for not realizing its for abused tips. Dipping my iron in regular flux, then tinning, will suit my equipment better.
