I like this product works as i expected it. its great tinning the tips to my butane soldering irons

Works great! Some fine tips needed just 5 sec of treatment, but this one was hopelessly oxidized and it required more than half a minute of my patience. But it was worth the effort, all my tips are now like new.

This stuff really works well after I finish using my X-Tronic Model 3020 Soldering iron, clean it with the Brass ball, then dip it in this powder. Funny it bubble and turns to silver on the hot tip in seconds like when you get solder on it. Keeps my Tip looking Shiny and new, works better melting the solder quicker also.

It looks like a pumice solid, but when you stick a hot iron in it, it melts near the tip of your iron and when its pulled out, you have a perfectly tinned iron!!!

I dont mean that its hard to understand the instructions. No problem there. Its just that you are supposed to roll the tip across the product, but the material sits so low in the container that you cant do that very well. It still works, I suppose. Disclaimer: I have never used tip tinner before, so I cant say whether this is better or worse than other products.
