Greater than one weekSimple use- Heat up soldering iron to operating temp. then place tip in tinner. The only con I have is that the cap is not screw on/off & is near impossible to secure once removed from packaging- one star knocked off. Overall, must buy if using to improve heat conductivity, but buy some tape while youre at it.

25-04-2025This is a miracle product! My soldering iron was becoming completely useless, despite repeated cleaning and abrasion, and all I had to do with the tip tinner is dip the iron in while hot. Now it works flawlessly, probably better than before. The package is tiny, but I think it will last a long time.

> 3 dayIts been a long time since Ive done any serious soldering, and I wasnt good about tinning the tip on the new soldering station I got, so the tip oxidized on me fast and it stopped melting solder properly. I got this after seeing some recommendations for it online. It worked great, cleaned the tip right off and got me soldering again, and helped me get the tip on my new iron tinned properly.

> 3 dayAfter struggling trying to tin a few soldering irons, I bought this. It is absolutely amazing, and instantly tins the tips. Although Ive never needed this before, I wasnt sure how I was going to fix my soldering iron tips.

> 3 dayquick and easy tip retin! the no-lead formula is nice, but if you have a temp controlled iron, remember that you need to turn the heat up a bit to use it since it melts hot.
