Thermaltronics TMT-TC-2 Tip Tinner (20g) in 0.8oz Container

This is a pretty straightforward product and it works as it should. I have a Weller butane soldering iron that gets VERY hot and always burns some solder leaving a mess. Once Im done with a project, a quick dip with the hot iron tins the tip and makes the next job as easy as the last. Should last a long time as well.

Worked like a champ! I have an old Weller that I borrowed from my brother years ago. The tip was completely corroded and would not melt soldier. I tried to sand, file brush to clean it but no joy. I bought a kit of new tips but they were too small. This stuff instantly cleaned and tinned the tip and only used a tiny amount of the available product. I am rarely so pleased with a purchase.

Being and avid DIYer, I do a lot of soldering upgrading components such as Capacitors and resistors. My soldering iron stays on the entire time and without this, that tip would have been a gonner by now. reduces oxidation and give me a nice tip with good flow. Great Buy

I have been soldering for over 30 years and this is the best thing ive used yet. I use to do the old method of fluxing and solder but this product makes it so easy. Wish i wouldve found this sooner.
