Works well. Restored several tips that were otherwise trash. Just wish I had bought a couple more at the same time.

Ive used other amonia tip tinners, but this one was hands down the best Ive ever used. It didnt disintegrate my tip like others, and immediately put a good tin finish on the tip.

Excellent renewal of old tip. Quickly brought tip back to nice, shiny tin. As good as new.

I use this stuff all the time. I put the hot tip in it before each soldering. I still use a copper mesh cleaner though.

Works similarly to using solder to tin the tip of your iron - its a bit chunky though. Its convenient for when you just want to cover the tip of your iron quickly before resting it back in its holder. Hopefully this will help keep my tips in good condition for longer! I burned the hell out of my last chisel tip because I was new to soldering and didnt tin the tip often enough.

After struggling trying to tin a few soldering irons, I bought this. It is absolutely amazing, and instantly tins the tips. Although Ive never needed this before, I wasnt sure how I was going to fix my soldering iron tips.
