Thermaltronics TMT-TC-2 Tip Tinner (20g) in 0.8oz Container

I cant believe I had went without using something like this for so long. I could not understand why my soldering iron tips were oxidizing so fast. Found out about using flux and stuff like that from youtube, in order to keep your tip from oxidizing, and came across this here on amazon and figured I would give it a try. Now my tips are nice and silver and I am really glad that I found out about this stuff, because I was really getting aggravated that I would have to go out and buy a new tip every time I wanted to solder.

This product helps to keep has new your solder tip. Even those chinese brand tips that doesnt came with a tin layer, it helps aderetion.

Works very well if you keep the iron temperature low, such as at 450F. My iron came with a setting of 600F, and it seemed to oxidize quickly.

Clean your iron and stick it in is all it takes. It does a great job of protecting the irons tip. Just dont over temp your iron like i see so many people doing

I was skeptical of this product however upon using it I can say it really works well. Worth the purchase. Comes in handy. Its very small sized but you dobt need much of it so its more than enough for multiple uses.
