Cleans up my Hakko tips with minimal effort. This, paired with a brass sponge should keep any tip in good working order for years.

Worked great. Super easy to use. Its already saving me money and time and producing a better soldering job as well. Would buy again, but this supply will last me a long time.

This is a surprisingly small tin for the cost. Powdered and compressed layer of solder on top with flux below. Poke the iron through the cake, wiggle it around, then you need to wipe it off with a damp rag to get a nice tinning. Ill use it until its gone then go back to using a bit of solder.

Cant live without this now- keeps your tips working great and lasts a long time. I have not used up my first pack, the container lasts quite a long time.

No down side must have for electric and gas soldering irons

Very handy tinner. Just get the tip hot and push it into the tinning and pull out a shinny tip. I would recommend to everyone.
