I have had my vacuum now several months. I was at first intimidated by all the filters, the cleaning of the filters, but now that I know how to do the cleaning I am able to do it easily. I am impressed by the suction. I use my vacuum for area rugs only. It is very strong and really cleans the rugs well! The drawbacks: The battery does not last long enough to vacuum all my rugs at the same time, and the dust bin needs to be emptied very frequently during the vacuum as it fills up too fast. For the price, I think it is worth it. Also, kudos to Tineco customer service. I called them today for a problem of my own making and they were very attentive and really made an effort to help me.

I write up a lot of things with 5 stars because they deliver on their promises, are solid and provide good bang for the buck. But occasionally I get blown out of the water by a product and this is one of those cases. Sufficient research both on Amazon and YouTube told me that the product would vacuum well and I knew I wouldn’t be getting all the attachments or an extra battery. The only thing I was a bit concerned about was the overall robustness. While it’s not indestructible, it’s no wimp either. It should hold up well over the long haul. However, the thing that blew me away was the quietness of the unit. I could carry on a conversation with a speaker phone and I don’t think it would bother someone on the other end. I’ve tried the different levels but for our tile floors the automatic mode does quite well. I think the head designed for tile and hardwood floors would be even better but that’s more of a luxury than a need. We’ve had robots, corded bags and bag less vacuums over the years but this does better than any of them (eat your heart out Rumba, Kirby, and Hoover). Dyson could be slightly better but not the hundreds of dollars more they change.

I would really like this but the battery life is horrible! I thought it would get better when I used it the first time but it has only gotten worse. I can’t literally only use it for 2-3 minutes on high before it needs to be recharged. Slightly longer on low speed but there isn’t enough suction on low to do much but dust. I could buy a new battery for $80 but the battery was poor from the beginning. If it wasn’t for the horrible battery I would really like it. It’s lightweight, has good attachments, a light and relatively easy to store. I am so very disappointed. Make a better battery and I might be able to recommend.

I like the light weight of this vacuum... but beware, you must hang it from the wall in order to charge the device. I did not count on that detail. Also, there are a bunch of filters, some of which need very regular cleaning. I will have to keep the handbook near for at least the first month of use to remind myself of all the details.

I don’t usually write reviews but after owning this vacuum for about 3 months, I couldn’t get it to run. I really loved how easy and efficiently it cleaned, so I called customer service to see if they could help me. After a brief phone call, the technician was able to isolate the issue and offered to send me a replacement part, free of charge. I am impressed not only with the vacuum itself, but with the customer service and responsiveness of Tineco.

We used our vacuum for the first time yesterday, and I was quite surprised about the amount of sand that was pulled out of our garage carpet runner. The rug always looked clean, but when this vacuum was turned on the high speed mode, it had so much suction that I had to push rather hard to get it to move. We bought a battery operated vacuum several years ago and bought one we could afford. I do not like paying $230 for a battery operated vacuum but it is many time more powerful than the cheap one. We were going to buy the $500 Lupe vacuum because it is so powerful, but it did not have headlights. So we purchased this one, our second choice. The headlights are very bright and the suction is amazing. Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes!!

Overall, I like this vacuum. My issue isn’t with the particular product as much as it is with cordless vacuums in general. They are overrated 100%. It is extremely convenient to have a cordless vacuum, especially with young children. I am happy to vacuum with this cordless guy instead of sweeping or using my big dirt devil and hold the cord or replug it every 10 feet. However, I was expecting a super powerful suction and this just doesn’t have it. It sucks pretty powerful, but I was expecting like, shop vac type suction. The battery life is very short lived on the highest level. Its something like 45 mins on lowest level, 20 mins on middle level and like 12 mins on highest level lol. If I wanted to vacuum my whole first floor on the highest suction, I’d have to charge the vacuum for several hours before I can vacuum the 2nd floor. This is the case for all cordless vacuums, even the $700 dysons. I am happy I bought a cordless vacuum, but I’m kind of wishing I didn’t spend $400 on it. I would have rather spent like $200 because it would have probably worked the same.

This was bought primarily for daily dog hair on hardwood and area rug. We have a Siberian Husky with white, very fine hair that sheds constantly. The vacuum did a great job removing the hair from the hardwood and the low pile rug, as well as with other floor debris. We used it set on low and medium speed to save battery. High speed really sucked the brush head down on the rug and we did not see the need for this speed to get any better pickup ability. This vacuum also replaces using daily Swiffer pads The motor head is a little heavy but using the speed lock improves comfort. Noise on low and medium is quite acceptable. The dust bin fills up quite quickly with dog hair but this did not inhibit dirt pickup - probably due to the hair allowing air to flow past (extra filter). The main floor is about 1200 sq ft and we were able to complete both hardwood and rug on one charge and one dust bin. The plastic dust bin has electrostatic cling so dust adheres to it and I found using my compressor to blow out the bin quite effective - of course not everyone will have this option - the manual says use cold water then allow to dry after each use. We have central vac but see using this easy access vacuum will reduce the need for the central vac to be used as often. We like the detachable wand to be able to do stairs with just the head unit. Lots of attachments for most jobs, but not all the accessories delivered store on the wall mount. The small upholstery brush head and pre-filter cleaner will have to be stored somewhere else. The vacuum uses consumables - where the money is. Pre-filter is suggested to be replaced every 3 months and HEPA filter every year. Extra battery is quite expensive and I could not find any aftermarket clones. Overall four star rating is just because this is new with no long term use experience. Update 12/21: I have just finished installing the wall hanger. What is really a stupid design is that there is no way to hang both power brushes together. If you hang one from the rear mount then it prevents the power head from charging. If you hang one from the power head then the connector pushes out and the charge pins dont contact the charger. It would be perfect if you could hang the power head, tube, and power brush together and still have the battery charge. Ill leave the rating at 4 stars. Update 6/2022: I still like this vacuum. Still able to do 1200 square feet hardwood with two large area rugs on one charge. Middle speed for hardwood, low speed for rugs. You still need to move somewhat speedily to avoid running out of power. Washing the brush rollers and pre-filter is easy. Update 11/05/22: The clip on the motor head that hooks into the dust bin to secure it broke. We use this vacuum every day and it appears the design is weak. The clip should be solid but it is molded into three wings - which makes it a weak link. I found that pulling the head back as you unclip it reduces the bending force on the clip. I will fill that clip with crazy glue on the new unit to reinforce it. Good news is Tineco is replacing the main head unit under warranty. Good service from them with no hassle. Update 4/8/2023: Ive been using the vacuum every day for about a year for dog hair. Another weakness has shown up. A crack developed in the dustbin hook that clips into the main motor body and holds the dustbin to the motor housing. The crack allowed movement in the connection and the dustbin would fall off during vacuuming. These plastic parts are too brittle and do not stand up to repeated stress. Tineco again has stepped up and honored the 2 year warranty and is shipping a new dustbin. The 2 year warranty is necessary to catch these poor design features. Im hoping Tineco will beef of these weak areas.

I love the convenient of a cordless vacuum for cleaning up my toddlers messes on the floor and vacuuming the stairs. This was my first cordless ever and it was great while it lasted. Today the whole canister part fell out and make a couple of bumps down the stairs when I was heading downstairs. I tried attaching it back on the blue part that has the power motor and handle but it wouldnt stay on anymore. I bought the vaccuum in October 2020. It is now January 2023. The little blue piece that attaches the long handle to the canister keep falling off completely a couple minths ago. Without that piece being placed in correctly, the vaccum head with the brush will not suction. Sometimes if I get lucky wiggling that small piece back in place attaching it to the canister then I can still use the vaccum as a whole. Otherwise, I juat use the upper part of the vaccum. can decide whether this vaccum is right for you or not.

When I first got this I thought of it as a glorified dust buster, but Ive come to like it more than I originally thought. The Tineco is very thoughtfully designed. The construction seems very robust and parts fit together with spring latches. Its relatively light weight and Ive had no problem with battery life. It replaces a heavy Panasonic cannister which never actually broke, though replaceable filters are no longer available, but Im getting older and lifting the old vacuum and dragging it around my apartment got to be a bit of a drag.. One of the features that I think is great are the LED on the roller-brush head. They light up dust that my old Panasonic canisters LEDs never noticed. The user manuals are helpful, since not all of the features of the device are intuitive. I suggest looking at YouTube for some live instruction. Opportunities for improvement: 1. The primary filter needs to be washed after every use. Tneco provides an elaborate attachment that allow me to use the vacuum to suck the dust out of the primary filer, but its more trouble than its worth. 2. The battery/attachment caddy. which doesnt hold all of the attachments that come with the machine and will be a pain to attach to a wall. For now, I have it leaning against a corner of my bedroom wall. The old attachment caddy looks like it might have been more useful. 3. The roller brush doesnt pick up larger objects like bits of paper or plastic.
