> 3 dayI wasnt thinking of a cordless stick vacuum as a whole house or deep carpet vacuum. I cant speak to how well this model would work for that purpose. What I use it for is frequent, brief cleaning of a stone/concrete tile floor in multiple rooms. Ive also found it to be better than expected for vacuuming small stand-alone rugs, tops of desks and dressers that tend to accumulate dust, and cleaning my car.... and the garage, and... well, the list grows. I thought see-through was a gimmick, but its useful because I occasionally get a bit optimistic and vacuum something up that gets stuck in the dust cup (so far, mostly chunks of styrofoam). Being able to see in there was a great help for getting stuff loose. Some have complained about lack of suction. Maybe this is a deep carpet problem. I have no problems with the suction on our berber-type carpeted stairs, etc. In general use, I often up the suction to medium (this is a three level model), but hardly ever use high. Low suction is more useful than I expected. Most of the dust and dog hair stuff goes in just fine at low. Low suction also has the unexpected advantage of working well on loose rugs (easy to keep the rug in place) and cluttered areas with loose items you dont really want to suck up: leaves those alone and gets the dust and light crud. There is definitely some wrist and arm fatigue involved in using it as a wand with crevice tool or similar on the end and doing a lot of maneuvering. It might be impossible to make the unit lighter and keep the battery capacity and general durability at the level they are (both good). But if there is one thing Id change, it would be to make it weigh less.

Greater than one weekWe are pleased with our A11 but I was hoping it would be slightly better on carpet. We have a very low rug and the A11 struggles to keep the brush spinning it is also hard to keep it from getting sucked down to the rug,so it wont push easy. But if you have mostly solid surface floors this vacuum is great and fun to use.

> 3 dayIn a good way, but not what you are thinking. My Dyson DC44 and DC35 have been slowly failing over the past few months to the point where I decided that I needed to replace them. I initially considered the Dyson V11 (too expensive) and the older Dyson V7 mainly because I still have a couple of working Dyson DC31s and hoped to reuse various accessory attachments, batteries and chargers. On Amazon there were a number of other cordless vacuums from companies I never heard of around the same price as the Dyson V7 but Tineco seemed like a more established company. I figured that I can buy a new current model Tineco A11 Hero+ (which includes various attachments and a second battery) for around the same price as an older model refurbished Dyson. I received the first Tineco A11 Hero+ on 21 November 2019 and after initial tests decided to buy a second one on 27 November 2019. The vacuum performance is significantly better that my Dysons in that it sucks up more fine particles/dust. Although the floor attachment bristles dont seem any stiffer than the Dysons, it seems to vacuum up more carpet fibers. Im not sure if it picks up more hair than the Dysons (maybe more of it is collected within the chamber as opposed to being wrapped around the floor attachment roller. I use the MAX setting since I see no reason not to as the two batteries are sufficient to vacuum everything that needs to be cleaned. Using the the mini power brush on the sofa cushions I was able to extract an amazing amount of fine dust, most of which covered the pre filter. I dont remember using the Dyson mini power brush on the sofa in the past but I have never seen the same amount of fine dust particles on the Dyson either. The Tineco batteries dont seem to last as long as the Dyson batteries which may be due to the higher suction power and possibly faster floor attachment rotation but since it comes with two batteries that are easily changed, this isnt a problem. I always ran the Dysons at Max power too and a single battery always lasted for the cleaning session. I have replaced the Dyson batteries in the past with higher amperage compatible batteries but I never needed to swap batteries while cleaning. I did not see any Tineco compatible batteries on Amazon other than the ones sold by Tineco. It would have been nice if the Hero came with the higher capacity Master battery. The only Tineco downside, for me, is that you must use the wall mount holder to charge the batteries. With the Dysons, the charger plugs into the vacuum which makes it convenient to take the vacuum and charger on road trips. I dont plan on taking the Tineco wall mount and charger on a road trip due to the large size/bulk. The Tineco has more filters (mesh filter, pre-filter, and HEPA exhaust filter) compared to my Dysons (1 exhaust filter) so it takes more time to clean the Tineco compared to the Dysons. For the Dyson, I would empty the dustbin over a waste basket and use a shop vac to clean the dustbin and lid. Next, I would detach the dustbin and vacuum the dustbin and the motor unit intake area. Next, I would open the rear and then vacuum the other side of the unit and the exhaust filter. Sometimes I would remove the exhaust filter and vacuum the other side of the filter and the motor area if it looks dirty. For the Tineco, I would remove the pre-filter over a waste basket and vacuum it rather than using the cleaning tool that comes with it. This is the messiest part due to the fine particles caked around the pre-filter. Next, I would empty the dustbin over the waste basket and vacuum the lid and chamber before removing the plastic/metal mesh filter and vacuuming that part. I also detach the dustbin from the motor unit and vacuum it and the motor housing before putting everything back together. Lastly, I remove the HEPA filter and vacuum it although it seems like nothing gets past the intake filters (mesh filter and pre-filter). The Tineco Multi-tasker Power Brush is easier to clean compared to the Dyson power brushes. Its not clear if this is because more hair gets sucked into the dustbin rather than wrapped around the roller or if it doesnt pick up hair as well as the Dyson. For the Dysons I use a curved utility knife (similar to a carpet knife) to cut the hairs wrapped around the floor attachment rollers and then pull off any remaining hairs/fibers caught within the roller bristles. The Tineco comes with a tool cut the hairs but Im used to using the utility knife and will continue to use it. The Tineco floor tool has LEDs which the Dyson lacks. Although the Dyson DC35 and DC44 are not totally unusable, I am glad I bought the Tineco A11 Hero+ because they perform a much better job of cleaning. It didnt make sense to buy a pair of older Dyson V7 nor Tineco A10 and I couldnt justify the cost of buying a pair of Dyson V11s or Tineco Pure ONE S12s. It also didnt make sense to buy a lesser known vacuum from other companies that not as well established. I bought the second Tineco when the price dropped around Black Friday and it seems like the price dropped again (not permanently as most of the drop is due to limited time coupons). I did have a problem with the first Tineco A11 where something was rattling around the inside of the pre-filter but this was quickly replaced by the seller after I contacted them. It would be nice if higher capacity batteries were available along with a small stand-alone charger.

> 3 dayDisappointed. I have an older Shark stick vac and needed a replacement. I read the reviews and videos and felt this might be the one. Its almost too light, sort of flops around and the top seems heavy...off balance with the entire machine. It is not self propelled. Does not leave nice vacuum lines and the rotating bristle brushes are short and just skirt the top of the carpet. Long hair still get caught up in it. The suction is not what I expected. I never used the lowest setting because it just didnt do the job. The higher suction level buttons had better suction. Fairly easy to clean out. Lots of nice attachments. With Shark all the function buttons are within thumbs reach. This unit power suction level button is on top away from the onoff un switch. Personal preference regarding button placement. When Im vacuuming I dont want to fidget with buttons. You must use the lock switch to keep the unit running or you have to constantly hold down the on button with with your finger. The handle sort of rubbed a sore spot on my thumb. Over all I just didnt care for it so I gave it to my husband to use when cleaning the vehicles.

Greater than one weekI love the convenient of a cordless vacuum for cleaning up my toddlers messes on the floor and vacuuming the stairs. This was my first cordless ever and it was great while it lasted. Today the whole canister part fell out and make a couple of bumps down the stairs when I was heading downstairs. I tried attaching it back on the blue part that has the power motor and handle but it wouldnt stay on anymore. I bought the vaccuum in October 2020. It is now January 2023. The little blue piece that attaches the long handle to the canister keep falling off completely a couple minths ago. Without that piece being placed in correctly, the vaccum head with the brush will not suction. Sometimes if I get lucky wiggling that small piece back in place attaching it to the canister then I can still use the vaccum as a whole. Otherwise, I juat use the upper part of the vaccum. can decide whether this vaccum is right for you or not.

> 3 dayHad it just over a year now. Meh. This is vacuum mainly a convenient way to sweep up dog hair daily and not have to bend down with a shovel (bad back). I do like how the cup is well balanced up top and doesn’t make my wrist sore. I don’t think it’s worth the price though. Comes with a ton of gadgets- but I never use them cuz for suction to really work you have to put it on high - of which you may get 10 minutes before it dies. I can get the staircase rugs done in that time frame, but it doesn’t do a great job, just okay. Definitely easier/lighter than dragging the canister vac, but if i really want the stairs clean, this won’t do it. Again, fine for every day floors on medium power - which gets 20-30 mins. Low setting is useless if you have any pets. Should have returned for a corded stick vac for $100 less on average. Stuck with it now. And just after the return window (of course) it seems the battery won’t stay charged as long. You can buy an extra battery, but it’s not worth even money for a so-so job.

> 3 dayI was a bit confused with the Amazon reviews because there were inconsistent descriptions of the product: one description implied that there were two batteries, and an extensive accessory pack with the A11 Hero. In fact, there was only one battery and fewer accessories that was described in some descriptions. This confusion, does not, however, detract from the performance of this amazing vacuum. Here are my observations. PROS o Very quiet motor. My cats arent sent in a panic sprint when I turn on the vacuum. o Excellent suction, even on the lowest setting. o Accessories are very good. The filter cleaning attachment is genius! o The multi-filtration system is excellent - all of the filtered dust is effectively captured in the hardware. o The large floor attachment with brush works extremely well on my hardwood floor. Further, the design is excellent as the roller can be removed from the housing for cleaning. The attachment has LED lights which are perfectly positioned to spot dust on the floor. Excellent. o The smaller attachment, also with a powered roller, is super efficient in removing cat hairs from duvet covers and furniture - best that I have found! o The cleaning tool, with blade to cut hair wrapped around the roller is very useful. o The weight and balance of the vacuum is very good. It isnt tiring to hold for periods of time. CONS: o The battery does not last very long on the high setting. This wouldnt be an issue if there were two batteries. o Minor issue: there are some small crevices in the design which are difficult to access to clean. Youll need to purchase a small brush to clean. In summary I would definitely recommend this vacuum. It isnt inexpensive, yet its performance is comparable to Dyson which is much more expensive. Also, in my opinion, the Tineco ergonomics are better than the Dyson: better balance and lighter. To be sure, the Dyson may have a bit more performance, at a much higher price point. I wish there were two batteries, but I dont consider this an serious issue. My overall impression is that this is a well thought out, superbly designed and effective vacuum. Excellent value for its price tag. 3/16/2021 Update. The on button trigger lock broke today. I called Tineco support and they said a replacement (main motor housing) would be sent to me because the vacumn was under warranty. Support said they would be sending me an email requestinh an image of the broken component and the serial number. I received the email in a few minutes, and replied with the image attached and the serial number. An hour later, Tineco support emailed me to let me know that the replacement part was being prepared to ship to me. Amazing customer service! Great service, great product, great company.

> 3 dayVery impressed with this little guy. Enough battery to do my entire home (mostly hardwood) on level-2 power, with enough left to do 3 carpeted rooms on level-3 power. It gets a lot of pet hair out of carpet, far more than I expected it to - Ive tried several other ($100-range) battery vacs, and all of them have been weak garbage. Dyson rides on their name-brand, but I have zero qualms about purchasing this instead. Battery life has exceeded my expectations - I considered buying the 2-battery-pack version, but Im glad I didnt, as Ive never managed to go through an entire battery before finishing the house. I wouldnt necessarily use it as my only/primary vacuum - I keep a better brand plug-in model for heavier-duty cleaning. But for a quick run-through daily cleanup, this does a very respectable job on every surface. It even has decent suction on the extreme front and sides of the head, so getting up close to a wall doesnt leave a thin line of dust there; itll grab everything. The only surfaces it has trouble on are thick-pile/outdoor type carpet (like doormats with raised ridges), as it doesnt have *quite* enough suction to pull things out of the indents in those - it does rely somewhat on the roller/beater bar to grab things, and if the dirt is below the roller, its somewhat less effective. Again though, its still leagues beyond any $100-range portable vac, and Id absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a Dyson but doesnt want to spend Dyson prices.

> 3 dayI first saw one of these being used at a restaurant, and was impressed enough to go to Amazon and start looking. I decided on the Hero as it specifically mentioned pet hair, and awaited it eagerly. I did fumble it a bit at first, but it really does an incredible job. The dustbin was filling up so fast I thought it must be actually physically removing carpet, so I went through one load carefully. No carpet fibers, but all sorts of hairs and dirt and dust. All my rugs brightened up amazingly, and it proved to be an amazing little tool. So light and easy to use. The one thing it has trouble with is gravel and grit, but dealing with that is quite easy. A lot of grit will catch in the power head, so I carefully take it to the bin, gently flip it up and let it fall a few times, and all the captured grit falls into the bin. For stuff it cant actually suck up it will dump a neat little pile where you lift the head up, and that is easy to get with a dust pan and brush. It does very well on the lowest suction setting - and the higher settings do even better when needed. All round this is an amazing tool, great fun to use, astoundingly efficient while making very little noise. It took me a while to get my head round that - virtually no noise and the dustbin was full. Just the opposite of all those unbelievably loud upright cleaners - all noise and no performance. I heartily recommend this tool for anyone who loves cleaning, anyone who hates cleaning, and anyone who does actually clean when it gets too much to tolerate. I am in this last group. It is light and quiet enough to just pick up and use for a 5 minute whisk around at any time. My first time at the living room, I figure that the dustbin needed emptying once for every 4 square feet of carpet. With time that has gone up , and now I can do most of the room before needing to empty it. I love it!!!

> 3 dayThis thing is absolutely epic. Super strong for carpets.
