First, the Tineco a11 is a huge improvement over my corded canister vacuum. (Now retired) A week before it arrived, I vacuumed all my area rugs and hardwood floors. When the Tineco arrived, I charged it up and went right to work. The clear canister showed an abundant amount of dust, hair, and particles left behind. I tried all the accessories; all are easy to attach and work well. The filter cleaner is a well thought out item, and works easy. Some hints: empty the vacuum outside the house if possible into the garbage. You end up with a lot of debris and it’s a bit messy when it falls out. If your mounting the holder on a wall use toggle bolts into the sheetrock, unless you find the wall studs. The unit is a bit heavy with the main body/battery, tube and full-size power brush. The on/off motion could loosen wall anchors. My only criticism (4-star rating) is the battery. This unit comes with only one and they are a bit pricey. I don’t know how many charges to expect. For the price, after research, it’s the best deal.

Overall, I like this vacuum. My issue isn’t with the particular product as much as it is with cordless vacuums in general. They are overrated 100%. It is extremely convenient to have a cordless vacuum, especially with young children. I am happy to vacuum with this cordless guy instead of sweeping or using my big dirt devil and hold the cord or replug it every 10 feet. However, I was expecting a super powerful suction and this just doesn’t have it. It sucks pretty powerful, but I was expecting like, shop vac type suction. The battery life is very short lived on the highest level. Its something like 45 mins on lowest level, 20 mins on middle level and like 12 mins on highest level lol. If I wanted to vacuum my whole first floor on the highest suction, I’d have to charge the vacuum for several hours before I can vacuum the 2nd floor. This is the case for all cordless vacuums, even the $700 dysons. I am happy I bought a cordless vacuum, but I’m kind of wishing I didn’t spend $400 on it. I would have rather spent like $200 because it would have probably worked the same.

Well engineered and quality built! 100% pleased! Low speed (quiet) does the whole deal with excellent suction pickup on everything. So convenient. Light and easy to use. Long run time. We APPRECIATE this machine! Bought on Amazon for best price and return policy.

I got this as my first cordless stick vacuum and have been very impressed! I’ve had it for 2 months and have had no issues! I use it on the lowest setting (there are 3 settings) and it does the job super well for me! I can still see the vacuum lines in the carpet even on the lowest setting! I’ve vacuumed my couch and mattress and am amazed at the amount of stuff that comes out of it! I never realized how much my dogs shed (even though they are hypoallergenic) or how much dirt they bring in from a quick potty break outside. I feel like this vacuum helps get things tidy in a hurry! I love all of the attachments! I can now vacuum my baseboards without bending down and wiping them with a rag. It’s great! I really couldn’t get over the powerfulness of this vacuum. When I first received it, it felt cheap and too lightweight to really be super effective but I was wrong! The only thing I don’t love is that if you’re using it for a long time (20 mins or more) it does get a little uncomfortable, for me anyway. My hand starts to cramp up but it could be because my hands are small though! However I do LOVE that it has a lever where you can hold the trigger in place and don’t have to hold the trigger the entire time you’re vacuuming. Overall this is a great vacuum for my needs so far and I highly recommend! If you can, wait until it goes on sale! I got mine for $190 where as it’s $250 right now! Look for a deal! Hope this helps!

As an engineer I prefer German and American designs and products. This is the first time I have purchased a Chinese product that I would highly recommend. After researching a vacuum that would meet my needs, I came across the Tineco brand which has earned recommendations from Consumer Reports and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for one of the best in class products. I have used this product for over a month now and can see that it lives up to its reputation. This is not some cheap Dyson knock-off (Ive owned 3 so far). In fact it has a small feature with big results - led lights on the vacuum head. These leds highlight my German Shepherds loose hair on dark hard flooring easily. Something that I miss easily with my corded Dyson. The Tineco has 3 vacuum power settings with the lowest setting as default. I have only used the highest setting for larger objects (pea gravel my dog tracks in) and on my area rugs. In this setting, it rivals my corded Dyson in cleaning. The variable vacuum power settings extend the battery life and the charger provides quick charging (with visual indicators for charging status). The Tineco comes with several attachments with some of them powered. The powered attachments are surprisingly articulated and maneuver well around and under objects. This dirt collection bin pops open easily for cleaning and the filter has a good chromed surface that sheds dirt with no problem. Filter pops out with a quick twist of the wrist to assist with dirt disposal- especially useful for the aforementioned long dog hair. As it is extremely light weight, I can use it on stairs easily or for cleaning cobwebs from my vaulted ceiling using one hand. I find myself only using the Dyson once a week when cleaning the entire house as it has a larger dirt collection bin. I would highly recommend this product.

I have used this in my home a few times now, and I am on the fence as to how much I like it. I bought it to replace an old Dyson stick vac that broke. I like that this one has two batteries so I can get more done without having to wait for a recharge. I also love the hold button to keep the vacuum working while not having to hold the trigger button the whole time. I do find that it seems a little awkward to get it to turn on, and without using the hold button, it is difficult for me to keep the vacuum running consistently. The vacuum was easy to set up and fit right where my old Dyson was set up in my laundry room. I only have to store the power brush on the floor, the rest fits in the wall mount. It is definitely quieter than my old Dyson, but part of me wonders if that is because it isnt as powerful. Using it without the Max setting seems useless. I have three dogs and two cats, so I am constantly vacuuming up pet hair, as well as stuff from kids. This vac seems to stop at the slightest clog. My Dyson would keep sucking and I could pull off the paper or whatever was blocking the wand. This one just stops. I am also finding it difficult to actually empty the whole cup. With so much pet hair being sucked up, some of it gets stuck in the upper part of the cup and wont fall out when I open the bottom to dump it. I dump it often to prevent overfilling it. I havent figured out if there is a way to open the top to pull out the hair. It isnt easy trying to get it out from the bottom. My fingers dont fit, so I have to try to find something to stick up in the cup to get all the hair out. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I am quite disappointed and wish I would have just spent a little more on a new Dyson.

April 6th 2022 this vacuum worked great in one year time the suction decreased and now the battery will not charge. This item was always kept clean. Tried to get in touch with Tinneco . Not happening . Chinese company . Tried to chat .The chat will tell you please wait a moment. NEVER HAPPENS. Calling not happening also. Started to read reviews most have the same problem I have. Somehow one client got a replacement that was rebuilt. Dont trust Chinese products and companies. I had one Chinese co. ask me to change a negative review and they would give me a gift. I cant be bought. Turns out Oreck still makes great vacs here in the U.S. They maybe a little old fashion looking but the reviews are terrific. The newest does not always work especially from China.

I purchased this vacuum In Aug of 2022. Now in February this motor no longer turns on. Battery charged, cleaning has been exactly the same since i purchased it. New filters placed. No motor power. The suction on carpet is so so. I tried to email the company and email will not go through because it states its the wrong serial number. There is no other serial number on the product itself. It is on the Battery only. I am at a loss

I also have a Tineco Pure One S 12 and a Dyson stick. They cost $450 and $700 respectively. The Tineco A 11 Tango does all the important things equally well at $219, a fraction of the cost.

I bought this in June 2021. Its my first and only stick vacuum. I got to test a friends Dyson stick vacuum back in May 2021 and was impressed. I wanted one of my own but when I saw the $700 price on the Dyson, I was like, NOPE. I bet I can find a cheaper alternative that works just as good on Amazon. Thus, the Tineco A11. I was surprised to see that they are still selling the exact same model (you know how you see the Last purchased blah blah at the top?). I paid less than what its currently advertised at right now, by about $40 I think. I would still pay what its priced at now, but probably no more. On to the review. 1. Suction. This is by far the most important part of a vacuum. Suction determines how much crap you pull off your floors. I probably do what most people do, and determine suction by how it treats the carpet as you roll over it. If it fluffs the carpet, then you know its getting in there pretty deep. The reality is that you can accidentally fluff your own carpet by the direction you roll in, so beware of mistaking that for good suction. The Tineco has three suction levels. I use lower levels on hardwood and higher levels on carpet. The Tineco had great suction the first year or so. I have noticed that suction has decreased, specifically on carpet, and I am often running over the same area of the carpet more than once. However, this may be due to the damage my vacuum incurred (see below). 2. Pet Power. I have two dogs and two cats. I have a short-haired pit bull/blue heeler mix and a longer haired husky mix. The husky just recently joined our family. I bought this vacuum because my pit heeler sheds like crazy. Little course white hairs EVERYWHERE that stick to EVERYTHING and are damn near impossible to remove from furniture. Add the husky, with her winter coat shedding these long, fine poof-ball clumps of hair and its basically dog hair hell at my house. I have to vacuum twice a day if I want to stay on top of it. (Do I, though? No. lol). I have a robot vacuum that I use in addition to the Tineco because theres just THAT MUCH HAIR. The Tineco is great at picking up the hair off the hardwood floor and the couch. However, I have to clean out my Tineco pretty much every time I use it if I want it to be efficient. My dogs hair tends to clump up and get stuck in the long stick, and in the opening into the canister where all the crap is sucked in. Additionally, I have to clean out the brush/roller and make sure the hole behind the brush/roller is free of debris as it tends to back up there as well. Luckily, the Tineco comes with this handy little cleaning tool with a blade for cutting out hair/string that wraps around the roller. But honestly scissors work better. Lastly, if you like to use the carpet deodorizers like I do, then the Tineco sucks it up well. The only problem is that you will be washing out the filters much more frequently. A lot of these stick vacuums claim to be designed for pet hair. Dont believe it. No stick vacuum is ever going to be as powerful as a full sized pet vacuum. Just look at the canister. It barely holds anything. When I brush my husky, I have three times the amount of hair that the little canister holds. When I vacuum my floors with the Tineco, I have to empty the canister at least 3 times. 3. Product features. Its a basic stick vacuum. You get a number of attachments, but I only use the long stick and the small stick. I noticed that with the other attachments, the suction is basically non-existent. Thats even before my vacuum had its little accident. For the couches, I just put the whole damn thing on there with the stick/roller attachment. Works great. As far as indicator lights go, you get battery and suction level. There are also a couple of filter types: 1) basic filter (you receive two, I bought two additional). These need to be cleaned frequently. If its not clean, you can hear it in the vacuum - it has this high pitched whining sound. I wash mine out with dish soap and warm water after every use. Since I have 4, I just keep three dry and waiting and swap them out. Works great. They clean really easily. 2) The HEPA filter is this metal type filter that goes in the top of the canister. Ive only cleaned it once, and it barely had any dirt in it. I honestly dont know what purpose it really serves. I did not buy any additional of this type of filter and only one came with the vacuum. 4. Design. Its a stick vacuum. They are trendy right now. So you get to say you own one. Are they just as good as a full-powered vacuum? Nope. However, what I love about my Tineco is that I can hang it on the wall, its wireless, and lightweight. I can take it anywhere. It serves as a dustbuster (if you were born in the 80s or before, you know what this is). Hell sometimes I even use it to vacuum my dogs. Cant do that with a Hoover. 5. Reliability/Cost-effectiveness. Ive had this vacuum for almost two years. It has not broken down once. As long as you take care of it, clean it well, and wash out the filters, it should last you. Now I used to spend about $100 a year on a brand new vacuum, because $100 vacuums only last about a year. I didnt mind because it meant that I always had a brand new vacuum with great suction. This thing has cost me about the same (about $100/year so far) and now Ive broken even, so we will see what happens in the next couple of years. 6. The Accident. As this is a stick vacuum with the bulk of the cleaning mechanism loaded at the top, it is top-heavy. You cant just set it anywhere, especially if you have the roller on. I made this mistake and set it temporarily against the corner of the wall, thinking that it would stay. It didnt. It fell and I noticed that a very tiny plastic piece broke off the canister. As is usual with my luck, this tiny piece of plastic was essential to holding the whole damn thing together. Its the clip that holds the canister to its harness. There was literally nothing I could do to fix this. I tried looking online for a replacement canister but they dont seem to have any for this Tineco model. So I did what any American does. I duct-taped it. lol (See pictures.) Now because this plastic piece left a hole in the plastic canister, the suction did suffer. I put a stamp over it (hey it was what I had nearby at the time and fits perfectly lol). So is it a design flaw or just my pure stupidity and negligence? I think a little bit of both. I wish there were more replacement parts. Unfortunately, unless its a big name brand like Hoover or Shark, then your options are limited. So have some duct tape handy.
