> 3 dayI have had trouble with this $200. plastic piece of overseas junk from the get go. I bought it on a big sale but the final tab, of coarse was $200. with all the taxes and fees [ You can usually tell if its foreign by the way they write in English. I have no problem with overseas items, if the are well made.] Firstly, the instructions are not specific. Im guessing that they were written by someone with English as a second language. It took me time to figure them out. Now that it is up and running the main sweeper brush will pick stuff up, like pieces of tortilla chips but will spit them out shortly unless, as I discovered, you turn it upside down and burp the garbage into the collection bin. The plastic is extremely breakable. If you own one I would suggest taking it off the charger when charged. Leaving it on wears out cheaply made batteries and you will need to buy TINECOS overpriced replacement. The more expensive models come with two batteries. I wonder why? I was replacing a DUSTBUSTER which, after over 15 years, died, may it rest in peace, which had suction like a chow hound,. I may end up getting one again. I have a , god knows how old, upright standard size, corded with a bag, Eureka, which puts them all to shame even with a wounded plastic bumper. The TINECO is a high maintenance item. EDIT 12/19/21 I suppose that I expected it to work like my EUREKA workhorse bagged vacuum. This TINECO takes a bit more maintenance. You need to empty the dustbin when about 1/4 full although the instructions say to do it every time that it is used. You also need to take off the brush head, open the compartment up gently ( I could not get it off the first time and in my frustration I tried to yank it off causing the little lock on the latch to break off. Now I just use a piece of packing tape to keep it on.) Take out the roller and using that white tool, which I misplaced, clean all the hair or rug fibers and dirt off. I have used different implements but my fingers work best. This vacuum cleaner works very well when clean. It picks up large and small pieces of the tortilla chips I always have when I eat dinner in front of my TV in the bedroom which is what I got it for. It functions well on hard floor and all around my home. Its light and I love the headlight. My only complaint is the short time that it will work after a full charge. People who need replacement batteries frequently might take some advice from me. When charging I try to remove it as soon as the lights stop blinking. I also take the cord out of the electric socket on the wall. Im not certain but I think the last step will help with battery longevity. Rereading my old review, I found that I repeated myself in this new edit. Sorry folks!

> 3 dayUpdate to my Update: I emailed customer service in hopes for one last ditch effort- I wanted to love this vacuum still. I did receive a reply within 24 hours asking for the usual model #, proof of purchase date, a video of the issues, etc. In my haste and busy lifestyle I put that on my list of to-dos and didn’t earnestly get this done. I started a hunt for a new vacuum instead as I really needed one that did well on carpets as we have two rooms with thick carpet. I hade given up on this little stick gem. I say gave up, because the problem was really me, not the vacuum! The “battery” would die within 2 minutes of use, even when fully charged or even when the battey was changed out for a alternate battery. The red lights would flash and I assumed it was the vacuum was a dud. I thought I maintained it well- emptied the bin, flushed out clogs in the rollers or in the tubes, but I didn’t clean and wash the upper filter often. THAT was the issue! I sat down and found my manual that explained the error lights and shutting down could be from clogs and have nothing to do with the battery. I did a major cleaning, including washing the filters and leaving it off the charger for 24 hours for everything to dry and re-set and recharged her. Whatya know! She worked like new! I’m ashamed and pleased at the same time. I didn’t expect a clogged filter to behave like a failed battery. So if you’re having “charging” issues do a full maintenance and try again. It may not be your battery at all. This vacuum is great for my mostly tile and hardwood floors. It gets under furniture and tables very well. It’s good for quick spills and stairs. It does a good “once over” on carpets and rugs, but I’d still use a heavy duty vac for carpets for deep cleans and pet hair. I’m giving it 4 stars for the lack of deep carpet cleaning, but it’s not realistic to think a stick vacuum would perform the same. It is a good vacuum and I love having it plugged into it’s wall stand in the hallway where I need it both “out of the way, but always accessible.” Don’t give up too easily on this little vacuum. It’s powerful and reliable if you take care of it and follow the manual and maintain it adequately. Update: After having this for about six months, I hate this vacuum. I even bought a second battery for this so I could switch it out and keep going. As if! It lasts about 5-6 min on a full charge and when I go to switch out to the other battery, it’s never charged! The too sectioned of the charger has an extra port so you can charge the vacuum and the extra battery at the same time, but it doesn’t charge the top one. It’s like you have to charge the vacuum with the battery and then remember to switch out the battery and put the back up one in and charge it again. I don’t know why it can’t charge both at the same time! The tube often gets clogged and requires constant cleaning. I understand that vacuums need constant maintenance, but stopping 3 times for one room is excessive. I’ve begun to hate vacuuming because of the poor performance of this vacuum. For the very high price I expected it to work better. The extra battery was an additional small fortune. I might have well bought a dyson. I regret my purchase. I love my new vacuum!!! I especially love vacuuming my stairs. I’ve never had a stick vacuum and I must say I’ve been missing out! I love that my vacuum is hanging on my wall easily accessible and I don’t have to hunt for a plug and move the plug to every room. I LOVE that it is so light. I feel motivated to use it for the smallest messes because it’s so light and accessible. I confess…I’ve used it on my counters and dinning table to get crumbs with the handheld version. I mean why not? I bought the extra battery pack because I wanted the security of knowing I could keep going if I needed to, but surprisingly I have never used it! The battery lasts well enough to do my downstairs just fine, even on high. I use it every day to do a quick run around to get my entryway and kitchen and where the dogs come in from the doggie door. I do have one complaint though… whom ever designed this did NOT consider left handedness. It’s obnoxious that if I’m using my left hand to vacuum I keep turning it off. The, how-do-I-say, lever? keeps turning off because it’s designed to be held by a right-handed person. You have to be a left handed person to explain but you have to be conscious of the “on” lever when you’re using your left hand. I wish they had a design that would “latch” instead.

> 3 dayWe were very excited to use the A11 Hero (having spent considerable time researching our vacuum options). We were looking for a reliable, well-performing stick vacuum with long battery life. We used the A11 daily for two weeks and ultimately decided that a few minor problems really hamper the experience: - switching the suction level: the vacuum offers three levels of suction (low/medium/high). So far, so good. But it ALWAYS starts on Low; even if you use Med/High, it reverts to Low as soon as you release the trigger. And with stick vacuums, we do a lot of pausing and starting again, which makes it really annoying to have to continually select the non-Low suction level we want - emptying the canister: compared to our prior stick vacuum (Dyson V7 Motorhead Cordless Stick), the A11 Hero takes more effort to empty the canister and then remove all of the debris that does not fall out when you first open it. That means more timing sticking fingers inside to pull out hair etc. They do provide a handy tool to extract the debris, which would be great if the tool could be attached to the vacuum. Instead, we have to store it in a drawer or elsewhere, where it will eventually get lost. - timing: there is slight delay between when you pull the trigger and when the vacuum actually starts. It is a slight delay -- Ill say 3/4 of a second -- but noticeable enough that it eventually becomes annoying, especially when it should be instantaneous. - leftovers: after vacuuming for several minutes, then stopping and lifting the vacuum up, debris falls out of the head. This is frustrating because it defeats the purpose of the vacuum. Ive tried making sure all pathways and the head are clear, yet it keeps happening. For those reasons, we are returning it. But there ARE some positives: - battery life was good - the wall mount works well - overall, the vacuum looks nice - generally, the suction seems adequate for our needs, especially at the Medium and High settings - it comes with multiple accessory parts

Greater than one weekAs an engineer I prefer German and American designs and products. This is the first time I have purchased a Chinese product that I would highly recommend. After researching a vacuum that would meet my needs, I came across the Tineco brand which has earned recommendations from Consumer Reports and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for one of the best in class products. I have used this product for over a month now and can see that it lives up to its reputation. This is not some cheap Dyson knock-off (Ive owned 3 so far). In fact it has a small feature with big results - led lights on the vacuum head. These leds highlight my German Shepherds loose hair on dark hard flooring easily. Something that I miss easily with my corded Dyson. The Tineco has 3 vacuum power settings with the lowest setting as default. I have only used the highest setting for larger objects (pea gravel my dog tracks in) and on my area rugs. In this setting, it rivals my corded Dyson in cleaning. The variable vacuum power settings extend the battery life and the charger provides quick charging (with visual indicators for charging status). The Tineco comes with several attachments with some of them powered. The powered attachments are surprisingly articulated and maneuver well around and under objects. This dirt collection bin pops open easily for cleaning and the filter has a good chromed surface that sheds dirt with no problem. Filter pops out with a quick twist of the wrist to assist with dirt disposal- especially useful for the aforementioned long dog hair. As it is extremely light weight, I can use it on stairs easily or for cleaning cobwebs from my vaulted ceiling using one hand. I find myself only using the Dyson once a week when cleaning the entire house as it has a larger dirt collection bin. I would highly recommend this product.

16-11-2024I’ve now had the Hero since July. I use mostly on hardwood floors but do have carpets in the bedrooms and area rugs throughout. I love the light that comes on automatically when the vacuum is in use. It comes with three speeds so you change with the touch of a button on the go. If you have a larger room or want to do multiple rooms at once without stopping, there is also a clip that will hold it in the on position until you return the clip to its original position. One thing that made me up front buy over the other vacuum options available were the accessories included. I love the wall hanger! Keeps the vacuum charged and nicely displayed and easy to remove quickly to pick up something you noticed on the fly. You can choose how to use. Whether on the floor, the furniture, the curtains, there are many possibilities for the Hero really throughout the entire home. It is important to clean the filters regularly as the user manual recommends. It also tells you how to do it. I did not do so and I experienced some loss of suction. After quickly realizing my issue, I put in the extra filter while washing and drying the other out completely. This did help bring that suction back so keep up on maintaining the cleanliness of the filters. During this time I did reach out to customer service and WOW! I have purchased thousands of items over the years and also have been in customer service in the past. I can tell you, Tineco goes above and beyond to ensure their customers know 1) you as a customer are valued and heard. 2) Tineco is there to assist you with anything from video directions because you’re more visual to answering questions that maybe aren’t asked by others. If you appreciate great value, great customer service and included accessories to clean your whole house and even your car, buy this vacuum. You won’t regret it!

> 3 dayThe vacuum seemed to work well. Powerful suction and is easy to use but for $259 I expected more than 16 months out of it. Will not buy another and I can not find out how long the warranty was for.

Greater than one weekbut now I love it!!! When I received my Tineco A11 Hero vacuum, it was so lightweight I wasnt sure it was going to do the job. I live with three large dogs, and we are always going on adventures to the woods, lakes, and streams, and consequently, our cabin becomes the house of hair and dirt. Over the years we have acquired and used numerous vacuums of all types, but I have always preferred the lighter-weight ones for cleaning. Our cabin is just under 1100 square feet and includes a set of 13 stairs where we come in from the outside, so every time I clean I have to clean those stairs and my corded vacuum does not completely reach the whole way. The floors are laminate, with many different sizes and thickness of rugs throughout. This Tineco Hero takes care of the whole cabin with power to spare! I use the lowest setting for the laminate floors, and only occasionally need to up the power for the thickest rugs. My favorite things about this vacuum are the lightweight( it doesnt scare the dogs while Im cleaning), the LED headlights (I can really see all the dirt and hair), and the battery life (I can vacuum the whole cabin and still have power to burn). Of course, since it is a cordless stick-type vacuum I can go anywhere with it and get under all the beds and the couch easily. Because it is so lightweight and easy to use (and quiet), I tend to vacuum nearly every day when Im at the cabin, which cuts down on the need for those all-day cleaning sessions. I havent owned this vacuum long enough to see how it is going to hold up in the long run, but for now I love it and highly recommend it. Tineco has its own website and communicates frequently through email, so I feel like if I need it, product support will be there.

Greater than one weekPerformance was decent for the price and handheld factor for the 10 months I used the A11, but there were issues with the motor and it wouldnt be able to power to the third step without shutting itself down. Now the device will not even turn on. I have taken great care with it, only using it once one or two weeks on my hardwood floors in my studio (barely any debris or dirt). For it to not work in less that a year is an utter waste of money and I am so disappointed. I have tried all the troubleshooting guides and the device simply will not switch on even though the battery is full. I should have gone with the Dyson EDIT: I called the customer service line and explained the problem. They were able to send out a replacement main motor for free. Bumped up my review but still concerned the lifespan on this product is 1 year. Surprisingly good customer service

> 3 dayI also have a Tineco Pure One S 12 and a Dyson stick. They cost $450 and $700 respectively. The Tineco A 11 Tango does all the important things equally well at $219, a fraction of the cost.
