Greater than one weekbut now I love it!!! When I received my Tineco A11 Hero vacuum, it was so lightweight I wasnt sure it was going to do the job. I live with three large dogs, and we are always going on adventures to the woods, lakes, and streams, and consequently, our cabin becomes the house of hair and dirt. Over the years we have acquired and used numerous vacuums of all types, but I have always preferred the lighter-weight ones for cleaning. Our cabin is just under 1100 square feet and includes a set of 13 stairs where we come in from the outside, so every time I clean I have to clean those stairs and my corded vacuum does not completely reach the whole way. The floors are laminate, with many different sizes and thickness of rugs throughout. This Tineco Hero takes care of the whole cabin with power to spare! I use the lowest setting for the laminate floors, and only occasionally need to up the power for the thickest rugs. My favorite things about this vacuum are the lightweight( it doesnt scare the dogs while Im cleaning), the LED headlights (I can really see all the dirt and hair), and the battery life (I can vacuum the whole cabin and still have power to burn). Of course, since it is a cordless stick-type vacuum I can go anywhere with it and get under all the beds and the couch easily. Because it is so lightweight and easy to use (and quiet), I tend to vacuum nearly every day when Im at the cabin, which cuts down on the need for those all-day cleaning sessions. I havent owned this vacuum long enough to see how it is going to hold up in the long run, but for now I love it and highly recommend it. Tineco has its own website and communicates frequently through email, so I feel like if I need it, product support will be there.

> 3 dayI have owned the A11 hero for two years now. Just before the warranty was up, I had to make a claim through email. They took care of me immediately and sent the correct part that repaired the problem. Excellent job! I used this on vacuum on hard floors and loose floor mats and it works great. I will take care of surface stuff on thick carpet but I do use a heavy vacuum for the the deep cleaning. You need to clean your filters. I didnt realize that there was a metal mesh filter in the canister that could be cleaned until recently. There are just a couple of things I think that need improvement. It would be extremely convenient if the vacuum cannister part could hang on a countertop when you have to stop and move something out of the way. The trigger to stay in the running position is to easy to flip off, and the handgrip is a little narrow for big hands. Otherwise it is a great vacuum. I recommend this to my friends.

> 3 dayHad it just over a year now. Meh. This is vacuum mainly a convenient way to sweep up dog hair daily and not have to bend down with a shovel (bad back). I do like how the cup is well balanced up top and doesn’t make my wrist sore. I don’t think it’s worth the price though. Comes with a ton of gadgets- but I never use them cuz for suction to really work you have to put it on high - of which you may get 10 minutes before it dies. I can get the staircase rugs done in that time frame, but it doesn’t do a great job, just okay. Definitely easier/lighter than dragging the canister vac, but if i really want the stairs clean, this won’t do it. Again, fine for every day floors on medium power - which gets 20-30 mins. Low setting is useless if you have any pets. Should have returned for a corded stick vac for $100 less on average. Stuck with it now. And just after the return window (of course) it seems the battery won’t stay charged as long. You can buy an extra battery, but it’s not worth even money for a so-so job.

> 3 dayI would really like this but the battery life is horrible! I thought it would get better when I used it the first time but it has only gotten worse. I can’t literally only use it for 2-3 minutes on high before it needs to be recharged. Slightly longer on low speed but there isn’t enough suction on low to do much but dust. I could buy a new battery for $80 but the battery was poor from the beginning. If it wasn’t for the horrible battery I would really like it. It’s lightweight, has good attachments, a light and relatively easy to store. I am so very disappointed. Make a better battery and I might be able to recommend.

> 3 dayOK. So Im a terrible internet shopper because I almost *never* leave reviews for *anything*. However, I am so compelled by how utterly fantastic this vacuum is that I have no choice but to write one. Strap yourself in. The attention to detail that the engineers at Tineco have is unprecedented. Their keen eye for functionality deserves heaps of awards and a standing ovation. The main goal in my review is to shed light on some of these small, unobtrusive features that make this vacuum a gosh darn (replace with exuberant profanity) marvel. The marketing team at Tineco needs to stop being so humble and start stomping their lame competition. Heres the list of the most praise-worthy features of the A11 hero+ 1) Lights for seeing dust on the floor. The lights on the front of the roller brush show you exactly where that chip you dropped ended up. Youll never ask yourself wait did I get that corner? again. 2) Integrated filter cleaning device. This is my personal favorite. You know how on most vacuums you need to occasionally wash the spongy micro filter? You know how much of a PITA that is? Then it has to dry off before using the vacuum again. Awful. Youll never have this issue with the Tineco. It has a separate attachment that is designed to clean off the micro filter. It takes <30 seconds and then youre back in business! Genius. 3) Multiple batteries. The thing comes with 2 batteries so that when one runs out of juice, you just re-load and carry on. All other vacuum manufacturers take note: this should be standard practice! 4) An easy to disassemble rotating brush. Worst thing about vacuums? Maintenance. Weve all spent far too much time sitting on the floor unraveling hair wrapped endlessly around the roller brush that wont turn anymore. It sucks. Once again, Tineco engineers come to the rescue here. The roller brush disassembles (no tools required) so that you can easily cut the hair directly off the brush. Once again, a minute or two and youre back in business! 5) Air circulated to cool the battery circuit. Ok, so this one is a bit esoteric but bear with me -- it shows that the people who made this vacuum really care about their work. The air coming out the HEPA filter is actually recirculated down the handle directly into the battery pack to cool the battery and related circuitry. **who even has the time to come up with this?!** 6) Squeeze release latches for EVERYTHING. No tools required. You can: change attachments, change batteries, remove the micro filter, remove the HEPA filter, empty the canister all with squeeze latches. Thank you Tineco for not making me break out the tool box just to do NORMAL MAINTENANCE! 7) Its very quiet. I havent looked at other reviews but if anyone says this thing is loud, they clearly live on the moon where there are no people, no cars, not even the occasional squirrel. OK, maybe it isnt whisper quiet but even our cats dont seem to mind and they mind literally EVERYTHING. Do yourself a favor, step your game up, quit swooning over Dyson, and buy this vacuum.

> 3 dayThis is a great little vacuum for smooth floors, and it also works quite well for low-pile carpets and area rugs, though you may have to step on the corner of a mat to keep it in place. Low suction power is generally sufficient for most smooth-floor vacuuming, and at that setting, the battery lasts at least as long as advertised. It also has medium and high suction settings. I kind of wish it were designed to charge without the dust bin, so it could charge while the dust bin is drying. I prefer the option of some other models in which the charger plugs directly into the motor. That said, the fact that the unit charges automatically when hung in its bracket is very convenient. This is an unbelievable bargain, considering it is also a powerful little hand vac with a rotating brush. I am beyond pleased every time I see an ad for another brand costing more than twice as much and think, My Tineco does that! Of course I havent had it long and dont know how long it will last.

Greater than one weekI also own a Dyson V8 that Ive had for several years but wanted a 2nd handheld and didnt want to pay the Dyson price so I began looking into knockoffs. This one was particularly well reviewed on 3rd party sites so I thought I would try it out. So far I have been impressed. It has gotten dust and dirt out of our rugs that I have already run the Dyson over. It also has an impressively long battery life. The filter cleaning attachment and spare filter that is included are a welcome addition as well. The main con I have noticed is emptying the unit is more difficult. To fully empty the vacuum you need to remove the filter as well, so it can be a two step process. The large floor attachment is perfectly functional, but not as smooth or as tight turning as the equivalent Dyson part. It does have LED lighting which made it easier to see pet hair on my wood floors. My Dyson does not have lighting on the floor attachment so this was an upgrade for me. Also switching out attachments on this unit takes more effort than it does with the Dyson. I had purchased this as a back up or secondary unit, but after a few weeks using it Im considering making it the primary unit and moving the Dyson to back up.

> 3 dayI also have the A10 version. The secret is the hard surface brush head. Absolutely a game changer. No more finding debris squirting out behind you as happens with the carpet head. Good power, good battery life, great value. Note, I am not a professional cleaning person using this hours and hours everyday. I do use these in my home on my floors everyday. Highly Recommend.

> 3 dayApril 6th 2022 this vacuum worked great in one year time the suction decreased and now the battery will not charge. This item was always kept clean. Tried to get in touch with Tinneco . Not happening . Chinese company . Tried to chat .The chat will tell you please wait a moment. NEVER HAPPENS. Calling not happening also. Started to read reviews most have the same problem I have. Somehow one client got a replacement that was rebuilt. Dont trust Chinese products and companies. I had one Chinese co. ask me to change a negative review and they would give me a gift. I cant be bought. Turns out Oreck still makes great vacs here in the U.S. They maybe a little old fashion looking but the reviews are terrific. The newest does not always work especially from China.
