> 3 dayI have used this in my home a few times now, and I am on the fence as to how much I like it. I bought it to replace an old Dyson stick vac that broke. I like that this one has two batteries so I can get more done without having to wait for a recharge. I also love the hold button to keep the vacuum working while not having to hold the trigger button the whole time. I do find that it seems a little awkward to get it to turn on, and without using the hold button, it is difficult for me to keep the vacuum running consistently. The vacuum was easy to set up and fit right where my old Dyson was set up in my laundry room. I only have to store the power brush on the floor, the rest fits in the wall mount. It is definitely quieter than my old Dyson, but part of me wonders if that is because it isnt as powerful. Using it without the Max setting seems useless. I have three dogs and two cats, so I am constantly vacuuming up pet hair, as well as stuff from kids. This vac seems to stop at the slightest clog. My Dyson would keep sucking and I could pull off the paper or whatever was blocking the wand. This one just stops. I am also finding it difficult to actually empty the whole cup. With so much pet hair being sucked up, some of it gets stuck in the upper part of the cup and wont fall out when I open the bottom to dump it. I dump it often to prevent overfilling it. I havent figured out if there is a way to open the top to pull out the hair. It isnt easy trying to get it out from the bottom. My fingers dont fit, so I have to try to find something to stick up in the cup to get all the hair out. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I am quite disappointed and wish I would have just spent a little more on a new Dyson.

> 3 dayWorks best for quick spot cleaning and hardwood floors but can also work as a whole house vac if you have enough batteries or break your house up into sections and do one section a day.

> 3 dayI bought this in June 2021. Its my first and only stick vacuum. I got to test a friends Dyson stick vacuum back in May 2021 and was impressed. I wanted one of my own but when I saw the $700 price on the Dyson, I was like, NOPE. I bet I can find a cheaper alternative that works just as good on Amazon. Thus, the Tineco A11. I was surprised to see that they are still selling the exact same model (you know how you see the Last purchased blah blah at the top?). I paid less than what its currently advertised at right now, by about $40 I think. I would still pay what its priced at now, but probably no more. On to the review. 1. Suction. This is by far the most important part of a vacuum. Suction determines how much crap you pull off your floors. I probably do what most people do, and determine suction by how it treats the carpet as you roll over it. If it fluffs the carpet, then you know its getting in there pretty deep. The reality is that you can accidentally fluff your own carpet by the direction you roll in, so beware of mistaking that for good suction. The Tineco has three suction levels. I use lower levels on hardwood and higher levels on carpet. The Tineco had great suction the first year or so. I have noticed that suction has decreased, specifically on carpet, and I am often running over the same area of the carpet more than once. However, this may be due to the damage my vacuum incurred (see below). 2. Pet Power. I have two dogs and two cats. I have a short-haired pit bull/blue heeler mix and a longer haired husky mix. The husky just recently joined our family. I bought this vacuum because my pit heeler sheds like crazy. Little course white hairs EVERYWHERE that stick to EVERYTHING and are damn near impossible to remove from furniture. Add the husky, with her winter coat shedding these long, fine poof-ball clumps of hair and its basically dog hair hell at my house. I have to vacuum twice a day if I want to stay on top of it. (Do I, though? No. lol). I have a robot vacuum that I use in addition to the Tineco because theres just THAT MUCH HAIR. The Tineco is great at picking up the hair off the hardwood floor and the couch. However, I have to clean out my Tineco pretty much every time I use it if I want it to be efficient. My dogs hair tends to clump up and get stuck in the long stick, and in the opening into the canister where all the crap is sucked in. Additionally, I have to clean out the brush/roller and make sure the hole behind the brush/roller is free of debris as it tends to back up there as well. Luckily, the Tineco comes with this handy little cleaning tool with a blade for cutting out hair/string that wraps around the roller. But honestly scissors work better. Lastly, if you like to use the carpet deodorizers like I do, then the Tineco sucks it up well. The only problem is that you will be washing out the filters much more frequently. A lot of these stick vacuums claim to be designed for pet hair. Dont believe it. No stick vacuum is ever going to be as powerful as a full sized pet vacuum. Just look at the canister. It barely holds anything. When I brush my husky, I have three times the amount of hair that the little canister holds. When I vacuum my floors with the Tineco, I have to empty the canister at least 3 times. 3. Product features. Its a basic stick vacuum. You get a number of attachments, but I only use the long stick and the small stick. I noticed that with the other attachments, the suction is basically non-existent. Thats even before my vacuum had its little accident. For the couches, I just put the whole damn thing on there with the stick/roller attachment. Works great. As far as indicator lights go, you get battery and suction level. There are also a couple of filter types: 1) basic filter (you receive two, I bought two additional). These need to be cleaned frequently. If its not clean, you can hear it in the vacuum - it has this high pitched whining sound. I wash mine out with dish soap and warm water after every use. Since I have 4, I just keep three dry and waiting and swap them out. Works great. They clean really easily. 2) The HEPA filter is this metal type filter that goes in the top of the canister. Ive only cleaned it once, and it barely had any dirt in it. I honestly dont know what purpose it really serves. I did not buy any additional of this type of filter and only one came with the vacuum. 4. Design. Its a stick vacuum. They are trendy right now. So you get to say you own one. Are they just as good as a full-powered vacuum? Nope. However, what I love about my Tineco is that I can hang it on the wall, its wireless, and lightweight. I can take it anywhere. It serves as a dustbuster (if you were born in the 80s or before, you know what this is). Hell sometimes I even use it to vacuum my dogs. Cant do that with a Hoover. 5. Reliability/Cost-effectiveness. Ive had this vacuum for almost two years. It has not broken down once. As long as you take care of it, clean it well, and wash out the filters, it should last you. Now I used to spend about $100 a year on a brand new vacuum, because $100 vacuums only last about a year. I didnt mind because it meant that I always had a brand new vacuum with great suction. This thing has cost me about the same (about $100/year so far) and now Ive broken even, so we will see what happens in the next couple of years. 6. The Accident. As this is a stick vacuum with the bulk of the cleaning mechanism loaded at the top, it is top-heavy. You cant just set it anywhere, especially if you have the roller on. I made this mistake and set it temporarily against the corner of the wall, thinking that it would stay. It didnt. It fell and I noticed that a very tiny plastic piece broke off the canister. As is usual with my luck, this tiny piece of plastic was essential to holding the whole damn thing together. Its the clip that holds the canister to its harness. There was literally nothing I could do to fix this. I tried looking online for a replacement canister but they dont seem to have any for this Tineco model. So I did what any American does. I duct-taped it. lol (See pictures.) Now because this plastic piece left a hole in the plastic canister, the suction did suffer. I put a stamp over it (hey it was what I had nearby at the time and fits perfectly lol). So is it a design flaw or just my pure stupidity and negligence? I think a little bit of both. I wish there were more replacement parts. Unfortunately, unless its a big name brand like Hoover or Shark, then your options are limited. So have some duct tape handy.

> 3 dayPerformance was decent for the price and handheld factor for the 10 months I used the A11, but there were issues with the motor and it wouldnt be able to power to the third step without shutting itself down. Now the device will not even turn on. I have taken great care with it, only using it once one or two weeks on my hardwood floors in my studio (barely any debris or dirt). For it to not work in less that a year is an utter waste of money and I am so disappointed. I have tried all the troubleshooting guides and the device simply will not switch on even though the battery is full. I should have gone with the Dyson EDIT: I called the customer service line and explained the problem. They were able to send out a replacement main motor for free. Bumped up my review but still concerned the lifespan on this product is 1 year. Surprisingly good customer service

> 3 dayI bought this thinking I could use it for my whole house and I can NOT. Its great for quick pickups around the house and for smaller projects like the car or the couch, or if the dog sheds in the kitchen. However, it is terrible on carpet and rugs. Im keeping it as a quick backup vacuum, the suction is impressive. On high power it dies after 12 minutes, but does run up to 30-40 on low power, which is really all you need for a quick sweep around the house on the hardwood/tile floors.

> 3 dayWe used our vacuum for the first time yesterday, and I was quite surprised about the amount of sand that was pulled out of our garage carpet runner. The rug always looked clean, but when this vacuum was turned on the high speed mode, it had so much suction that I had to push rather hard to get it to move. We bought a battery operated vacuum several years ago and bought one we could afford. I do not like paying $230 for a battery operated vacuum but it is many time more powerful than the cheap one. We were going to buy the $500 Lupe vacuum because it is so powerful, but it did not have headlights. So we purchased this one, our second choice. The headlights are very bright and the suction is amazing. Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes!!

> 3 dayBought this to keep downstairs so we dont have to lug our big vacuum back and forth. Its FANTASTIC! Its reasonably light, with pretty good suction for its size, and dumping the dirt chamber is pretty easy (putting it back together was tricky at first, but no problem once I figured out the best way to do it). The attachments are super easy to take on and off. Weve actually used it for multiple things, including vacuuming out our car, sweeping hardwood floors, and cleaning out corners where the baseboard meets the carpet (not the absolute best results for this last application, but reasonably adequate). Though its cheaper than some, its still a little pricey; however overall a good value.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace an older Dyson. It’s extremely light. When I’m vacuuming I feel I don’t get floors as clean because when pulling back the floor attachment lifts up some. That is my main con on it. Coming with all the attachments are nice and it hangs neatly on wall. I do have cats and it will not pick up the litter if it’s on a hard floor close to a rug. Where my Dyson would. Again I feel this is because it’s so light it doesn’t make good contact with floor. For the price I did decide to keep it.

Greater than one weekIn a good way, but not what you are thinking. My Dyson DC44 and DC35 have been slowly failing over the past few months to the point where I decided that I needed to replace them. I initially considered the Dyson V11 (too expensive) and the older Dyson V7 mainly because I still have a couple of working Dyson DC31s and hoped to reuse various accessory attachments, batteries and chargers. On Amazon there were a number of other cordless vacuums from companies I never heard of around the same price as the Dyson V7 but Tineco seemed like a more established company. I figured that I can buy a new current model Tineco A11 Hero+ (which includes various attachments and a second battery) for around the same price as an older model refurbished Dyson. I received the first Tineco A11 Hero+ on 21 November 2019 and after initial tests decided to buy a second one on 27 November 2019. The vacuum performance is significantly better that my Dysons in that it sucks up more fine particles/dust. Although the floor attachment bristles dont seem any stiffer than the Dysons, it seems to vacuum up more carpet fibers. Im not sure if it picks up more hair than the Dysons (maybe more of it is collected within the chamber as opposed to being wrapped around the floor attachment roller. I use the MAX setting since I see no reason not to as the two batteries are sufficient to vacuum everything that needs to be cleaned. Using the the mini power brush on the sofa cushions I was able to extract an amazing amount of fine dust, most of which covered the pre filter. I dont remember using the Dyson mini power brush on the sofa in the past but I have never seen the same amount of fine dust particles on the Dyson either. The Tineco batteries dont seem to last as long as the Dyson batteries which may be due to the higher suction power and possibly faster floor attachment rotation but since it comes with two batteries that are easily changed, this isnt a problem. I always ran the Dysons at Max power too and a single battery always lasted for the cleaning session. I have replaced the Dyson batteries in the past with higher amperage compatible batteries but I never needed to swap batteries while cleaning. I did not see any Tineco compatible batteries on Amazon other than the ones sold by Tineco. It would have been nice if the Hero came with the higher capacity Master battery. The only Tineco downside, for me, is that you must use the wall mount holder to charge the batteries. With the Dysons, the charger plugs into the vacuum which makes it convenient to take the vacuum and charger on road trips. I dont plan on taking the Tineco wall mount and charger on a road trip due to the large size/bulk. The Tineco has more filters (mesh filter, pre-filter, and HEPA exhaust filter) compared to my Dysons (1 exhaust filter) so it takes more time to clean the Tineco compared to the Dysons. For the Dyson, I would empty the dustbin over a waste basket and use a shop vac to clean the dustbin and lid. Next, I would detach the dustbin and vacuum the dustbin and the motor unit intake area. Next, I would open the rear and then vacuum the other side of the unit and the exhaust filter. Sometimes I would remove the exhaust filter and vacuum the other side of the filter and the motor area if it looks dirty. For the Tineco, I would remove the pre-filter over a waste basket and vacuum it rather than using the cleaning tool that comes with it. This is the messiest part due to the fine particles caked around the pre-filter. Next, I would empty the dustbin over the waste basket and vacuum the lid and chamber before removing the plastic/metal mesh filter and vacuuming that part. I also detach the dustbin from the motor unit and vacuum it and the motor housing before putting everything back together. Lastly, I remove the HEPA filter and vacuum it although it seems like nothing gets past the intake filters (mesh filter and pre-filter). The Tineco Multi-tasker Power Brush is easier to clean compared to the Dyson power brushes. Its not clear if this is because more hair gets sucked into the dustbin rather than wrapped around the roller or if it doesnt pick up hair as well as the Dyson. For the Dysons I use a curved utility knife (similar to a carpet knife) to cut the hairs wrapped around the floor attachment rollers and then pull off any remaining hairs/fibers caught within the roller bristles. The Tineco comes with a tool cut the hairs but Im used to using the utility knife and will continue to use it. The Tineco floor tool has LEDs which the Dyson lacks. Although the Dyson DC35 and DC44 are not totally unusable, I am glad I bought the Tineco A11 Hero+ because they perform a much better job of cleaning. It didnt make sense to buy a pair of older Dyson V7 nor Tineco A10 and I couldnt justify the cost of buying a pair of Dyson V11s or Tineco Pure ONE S12s. It also didnt make sense to buy a lesser known vacuum from other companies that not as well established. I bought the second Tineco when the price dropped around Black Friday and it seems like the price dropped again (not permanently as most of the drop is due to limited time coupons). I did have a problem with the first Tineco A11 where something was rattling around the inside of the pre-filter but this was quickly replaced by the seller after I contacted them. It would be nice if higher capacity batteries were available along with a small stand-alone charger.
