I cannot think of another torch head that is as easy to use or has the same build quality. We have had a 4000 series model in my maintenance work center at work and it is several years old, so I have full faith that this will give me many years of service.

I use this at my fire pit. It will start anything. The locking feature was a surprise. I wasnt expecting it when I ordered. The igniter wore out on my previous device, but it lasted about 10 years.
